When first seeing this cafe you would think you would receive a nice experience with good quality food and good portions. However, for both times I have had breakfast at this cafe, both times I was disgusted and disappointed. The food portions are beyond a joke in how small they are. My partner paid $17 for a meal plus 6$ on extras as how little it included for the price only to receive two small poached eggs, one slice of toast, and a small scoop of avacado. For $23 you would expect a much larger portion of food and much nicer meal. To top the food off and prices, the head âchefâ has no courtesy of manners or basic hygiene. You basically witness your food being cooked as well as the chef licking his fingers, eating the scrap food and food in general. When making the food you can also witness him lick his fingers after accidentally touching a side of a burger or cheese etc. To top this off, if you didnât already think it was bad enough, he also wipes his nose, scratches his ears wipes his face all with no gloves or no care for the food he is serving people and producing. Overall this cafe could have potienal but sadly is ruined by the owners being oblivious to...

The staff are professional and courteous, always willing to strike up a conversation and make us feel at home. The curried mince was a standout dish, with a perfect blend of spices that added depth and complexity to the flavorful meat. The eggs Benedict were equally delicious, with a perfectly poached egg and rich, velvety hollandaise sauce. Even the kids' waffles were a hit, with their crispy exterior and fluffy interior. Ater breakfast, we took a leisurely stroll along the piers, taking in the sights and sounds of the bustling waterfront. The overall experience was delightful, with prompt and attentive service and reasonable prices for the high quality of food and atmosphere.
Overall, The Press Cafe is a wonderful spot for a relaxing breakfast or brunch, and we look forward to...
Read moreThis review is probably a few months late but I just had a good experience I wanted to come on and gives thanks to the hospitality this place gave. My boyfriend and I came here for our anniversary and this place was amazing ! The food was so yummy and plenty of it I got the eggs Benedict and I was stuffed after it was so yum!!! The service was also above and beyond my parter is allergic to egg and had to take the egg off to which they offered an extra hash brown instead which was a nice little extra bonus. The lady was kind enough to take our picture and noticed us giving each other gifts and asked if we were celebrating a bday. We told her it was just our anniversary to which she congratulated us and then after we ate our meal gave us a muffin on the house to share. It was such an unexpected surprise and one that just topped off an already amazing experience. Thank you everyone where for making our day just a little bit more special. Definitely canât wait to come...
