If I could leave 0 stars for this review I would. First of all food. Horribly over cooked gluggy rice, nothing fresh available on the train, everything deep fried and covered in mayo and teriyaki sauce. Now all of this could have been somewhat overlooked if the service had been friendly and welcoming which it was not. We entered the restaurant and were looked up and down with a filthy glance by the woman behind the train counter. No hello, good afternoon or welcome instead we got a, are your short wet you canât sit if your shorts are wet. Now please bare in mind this is a sushi train in a marina where there are a lot of âwetâ people walking around. Also this sushi train with plastic and wooden bench seating not Nobu. Any way we actually where not wet just wet patches on our shirts from our hair. She begrudgingly pointed to a table where we could take a seat. Table was dirty with empty plates on it, which we had to clear ourselves as she could not be bothered to walk over take the plates and wipe the table for us. Food was beyond average as I already explained, we all managed one plate each. We gathered up our plates and walked over to the counter to pay. Again the lady could not be bothered to walk over to us but instead yelled at us from behind the counter: â How many plates and what colour. Drinks?â This was definitely not a hospitable hospitality establishment and we will never waste our money here again. Hopefully someone will come along and buy this place and turn it into a proper...
Read moreAs a customer, once you walk in, you will get a service by a rude and grumpy face middle aged woman. Customers never get asked if you want to take away or have it here, but thatâs alright. It is an exotic restaurant, every dish has a number in-front of on the menu, and it is very common that customers tell the numbers of the dishes instead of tell the names, because some names are hard to pronounce probably, and you donât want to make the staff be confused, therefore I just said the numbers of the dishes, but the middle aged woman shouted to me, ânext time you order by telling the names!â I mean if you are serving customers, you donât serve customers like that, you should just stay at the back of the kitchen, and you shouldnât say bad words behind customers, donât you ever think that customers donât understand your language. Oh and one thing about your food , your chicken is overcooked. Terrible service and disgusting dishes. Lack of professionalism, respect and politeness are things that you should learn...
Read moreThe food is good! BUT⌠the middle aged woman has got to be the grumpiest human Iâve ever encountered!!! LOL, itâs actually amusing. Reading other reviews, others feel the same. I have a not even 11 month old who obviously is no pro at eating meals in a mannerly fashion, he is a BABY!! She was so mad that I said my baby made a mess, tried to ask for a chux but she ignored me. OBVIOUSLY we cleaned up as much as possible with napkins. I was on my way to grab wipes from the car because we would never expect anyone to clean up after us EVER but I decided against it because she was so infuriated with my LITTLE BABY!!!! đ We will actually come back for the food & will bring our son just to see the disappointment on her face! :) Apart from that, the cook was nice, he seemed to find it funny she was so angry. PS: Some of us can understand what youâre saying in about us even if we arenât fluent in...
