Tara Far East Dining & Bar — Restaurant in Gold Coast City

The first time you go to this little gem in Sanctuary Cove, you are suitably impressed. The second time you go, you will be blown away! How can a restaurant get it so right... so consistently? We are regulars of the Chim Thai next door (which is excellent by the way) so decided to try its little sister Tara. Staff are friendly and accommodating, food is outstanding (and I don't usually say this, but the Kingfish Sashimi was absolute perfection). Excellent wine selection and Singha Beer on tap. Went to dinner tonight to try out the New restaurant at Sanctuary Cove called Tara. It was absolutely delicious. We had the chilli oysters, Sashimi, Soft Shell Crab, aged duck.and the this amazing bone marrow and noodle dish. We shared the dishes and didn’t know which one tasted better, I highly recommend the flavours complement each other. The food was fresh and light. A beautiful dining experience. We loved the atmosphere. Most meals were well balanced, and some were delicious. I'd recommend a litte work on balancing the Lychee Martini, and ensuring the fish is cooked to perfection. We LOVED the atmosphere, staff, and food presentation. Half our table waited a long time for mains because they ordered entrees. I'd say around 1/2 an hour after completing their entrees. We would recommend...
