Toro's pizza — Restaurant in Gold Coast City

I never usually write reviews, but seriously bad service...again this is the 2nd time this has happened. As you do, I thought i'd give them another go. This is twice they've lost our take away order. The first time they pretended they hadn't lost the order, they were busy with only 3 seated tables? And eventually got it out after another more than half hour wait, however only with rude comments and defensive attitude when questioned, with 2 free cokes thrown in to say sorry for the wait. This time, same thing wait 45 mins to collect pizza and another lost order, not sped up or rushed through and another 45 mins wait, no free cokes or any sort of a discount for waiting 1.5 hours for our pizza. There is clearly something wrong with your system and the level of training that your staff have to manage the mistakes they are making is...

In the past we’ve loved our Toro’s pizza. But tonight, we ordered uber eats (probably our third or fourth time getting delivery—and our LAST) and were astounded by what we received. We ordered a Bianco pizza with Gorgonzola, pear, and prosciutto. What we received was simply an overcooked pizza without sauce, with prosciutto and uncooked pear slapped on top post-haste. We also got a Margherita pizza, and instead received a classic “cheese” pizza with a few pieces of basil (which we actually think tastes like spinach) cooked in. These are not even close to correct in comparison to what we’ve received or come to expect from Toro’s in the past, as well as the descriptions, the photos, or the general concept of what these pizzas should be. I don't normally write reviews but last night I ordered the Margherita pizza with pepperoni, ham and olives and OMG!! Hands down THE BEST pizza I have ever eaten!!! It arrived early , ordered from uber eats and was absolutely delicious. The most amazing crust, wood fired, crisp and perfectly balanced . Not oily or greasy at all , just obviously hand stretched. The buffalo mozzarella, fresh slices of leg ham, and pepperoni were authentic delicious and top quality as were the delicious olives. Extremely generous in quantity of all ingredients. Every slice was generously covered with delicious toppings. I will never get pizza anywhere else and I have tried at least 6 places....
