Sandwich was dryer than the Simpson and bland. Hotdog not the best.

Thickshakes not thick and generic flavouring used. Cups and lids used are very cheap, expect sticky fingers. Would think a 'milk bar' would have decent cups to prevent spillage

Shop is clean and well presented, salad was fresh. A little overpriced.

*Thanks for the reply and apology. I wouldn't have wanted any replacement thank you. A little mayo on the sandwich would have been good, a hotdog is well, a hotdog. The thickshakes were the big disappointment. Why be a milk bar if you are going to use that same old Cottees or similar syrup, can get that rubbish at and service station or takeaway in the country. It was expensive enough to use decent ice cream and ingredients and still be profitable. For a joint called “milk bar”, it’s extremely disappointing that they don’t know the difference between lactose free milk, and soy milk. We stopped in here during an (unbroken) 21 hour drive to Brisbane, and were DYING for a good coffee, and the lady working at the fuel station across the road recommended this place for its coffee. Both my husband and I took one sip and poured the rest out as we do not drink soy milk; and we were already back on the highway so we weren’t going to turn around to complain. Huge disappointment. I had a quick overnight stop in "Gundi". Looked about and found this place. Great parking available, particularly as i was towing a long trailer. Walk in, it is beautifully clean and a warm greeting. My cooked breakfast was everything i was looking for. Plentiful and priced right. I will be back on my next vist to town.
