We decided to take the stress away this year for Christmas so we made a table booking at the Victoria Hotel for Christmas lunch. Our table consisted of 4 people, one of our quartet being a Qualified Chef who is regarded as a food connoisseur and not faint hearted at voicing an opinion. For our Christmas Day Lunch booking we were picked up at our door and driven to the hotel where upon arrival we were greeted by the hotel manager Hanna who escorted us to our table. The Lunch was an amazing food experience with fresh ingredients, delicious and generous portions, served with tasteful crockery, cutlery, white linen table clothes and napkins. If Good food and service is what you look for in a dining experience then doing Christmas Lunch at the Victoria Hotel should be high on your list. My compliments to the Hotel Manager Hanna and Head Chef Steve for making our Christmas Lunch...

The Victoria Hotel is the go to pub in Goondiwindi. While some things could be improved, it is a very good all rounder.

The establishment is in an old (possibly a heritage) building but it is very well maintained and clean. The service we received was very professional and the food we ordered was amazing.

Three of us ordered the Crispy Chicken Burger with Chips, while the other two ordered a Chicken Parmi with Chips and a Chicken Schnitzel with Mashed Potato. The chicken was perfectly crumbed and cooked. The chips were also amazingly crunchy. The only issue with our meal was the mashed potato was slightly dry and seemed rush but the overall presenation of the meals was very good.

This was my first time visiting Goondiwindi, and it'll be very rare for me to find myself in Goondiwindi but I'll happily return to the Victoria Hotel for a...

Very unique exterior for a Queensland hotel, very bare interior in the restaurant section. Staff were friendly but were few and far between. Steak is some of the best I've had. I tried the Gundy Bundy, a dish in which the steak is marinated for 48 hours in Bundaberg Rum. Having my steak rare, the meal was quite delicious. The meat was tender and sweet from the marination, the salad tasted crisp and the fries were pretty excellent. Crunchy and golden, with nice seasoning. Definitely somewhere to return to.
