Shame, nice seating area and very polite staff. HOWEVER cappuccino’s had ground coffee on top instead of traditional Chocolate, and was quite bitter. Even the large cup size coffee was overly bitter. Our 2 muffins came out on 2 plates but the plates were drizzled with chocolate topping like substance. When picking up the mufffin one found choc topping all over one’s hands. Start again! Our ham, cheese & tomato sandwich to go was brought out and placed on table in paper bag. After leaving the establishment the sandwich was given to an elderly lady whom we had brought to Goondiwindi for a medical appointment. Sadly we found the sandwich had not been cut. So our friend had to sit in the Town Park chomping on a full slice size sandwich. Had Goondiwindi still been open (everything closes between noon and 1pm) this Saturday I would have gone back with our “last straw” and made them aware....
Read moreVery disappointing, went for breakfast this morning, Sunday, ordered 2 meals and specified soft poached eggs for both and both meals came out with eggs that were hard cooked. The bacon on my meal was burnt, the mushrooms weren't cooked and the sausage was only just warm. There was no butter on the toast and none supplied and when I queried it the girl cooking the meals gave me a look of " don't bother me". I would have given 1 star but the coffee was ok so I gave 2. Will not be returning here, especially for the prices paid for poor meals.

Read moreMy husband and I were looking forward to having coffee as we passed through Goondiwindi. I’d checked Google Reviews but the top rated cafes were closed on Sunday. We should have kept driving. The girl who served us was hopeless. All I wanted was ‘2 small flat whites to have here’. Sounds simple but she had to ask me 4 questions in order to place the order! If she had listened in the first place she would have known the answers. Eventually one coffee arrived! We had to wait even longer for the second cup. Management needs to seriously consider...
