An easy stop when travelling through the area. The draw cards are an easy access from the highway and The Big Merino statue.
Roadside stops in Australia are always a bit of hit-and-miss and you are usually better off venturing farther in to the nearby towns for your feed. The same applies here, as well.
Ordered a burger and milkshake. While observing the kitchen at work, it was obvious that the staff member was rather disinterested in the whole place, let alone at their work.
Received a burger with the patty burnt. Still technically edible but far from an invitation to order again. After sipping the cup empty, the shake had a big indeterminable lump left at the bottom. After letting it sit for 20 mins, it was evident that it had been part of a frozen block of berry mix, used as the base for the shake. But containing very much overripe berries, at the level where I would have composted them at home several days earlier.
The coffee is drinkable, hot chocolate mild. All just as you could expect from an Aussie...
Read moreThe lady with purple hair really I recently visited this coffee shop and was very disappointed with the service. The girl with purple hair at the counter was extremely unfriendly and gave the impression that she didn’t want to be there. No smile, no basic courtesy or welcoming gesture – it honestly felt like customers were a burden to her.
I ordered 1 mocha and 3 chai lattes, and specifically requested for them to be made a little extra hot. Instead, the drinks were so overheated that it was difficult to even hold the cups, let alone drink them comfortably. When I mentioned this to her, her response was just a dismissive “oh,” with no apology or effort to fix the issue.
Customer service plays a big role in any café experience, and sadly, this visit left a very negative impression. Hopefully, management can address this and improve both service and quality. Very very rude girl, she should understand that we are paying for the coffee and requesting for service. This impacts the...
Read moreHave been to other Olivers franchisees and the food and service was excellent. Had similar expectations for Olivers in Goulburn but unfortunately left disappointed.
The service was good but the food was pre-made and the staff just heated them up, not fresh/made to order. One meal was luke warm and the second was still cold in the centre. Both were dry and lacking in flavour.
They had run out of alot of menu items for the day and it was only 7pm which was less than ideal as well as running out of forks to eat with. The large coffee ordered was mostly warm milk with possibly only one shot of coffee instead of three as advertised as there was little coffee taste.
The bathrooms needed to be serviced as well. There was water and toilet paper all over the floors.
Our expectations from other franchisees was not met this time which is a shame given the food is...
