Has anyone ever heard of a cafe that won't make a sandwich 2 and a half hours before they close? Seriously if a Cafe has 2 staff and 1 customer, why not remove a piece of cling wrap and make a sandwich? Over the period of 2 weeks I attended this Cafe 4 times in hope of grabbing my lunch break s/w (literally chicken lettuce mayo, not hard), every time I went the same very rude staff member told me the sandwich bar was closed. When I finally complained about the closing times of the s/w bar I was allowed to have a roll made. The rude girl then proceeded to tell me at the register that they closed at 3 again (it was 2:35pm)! I will only come back here again to talk to a manager/ owner because I know what rude staff (and lazy time wasting one's at that) can do to a small business. .

Read moreI've been a long time customer of Bec's Cafe and I've noticed their customer service and food quality has decreased dramatically especially since new management took over. Yesterday will be my last time after what I witnessed. I was waiting for my sandwich when whom I assume is the owner started yelling at the poor young girl serving in front of everyone waiting not allowing her to speak as tears welled in her eyes. As I walked away I had a conversation with another customer we were both appalled by what we had witnessed. Hope the young lady is ok. NOBODY DESERVES TO BE TREATED LIKE THAT AT A WORKPLACE. Read moreThey ‘lost’ my order? When watching the staff work it was like no one knew what they were doing. Instead of coming to apologise and check what I ordered I was left to go check on my order after about 15 minutes, while I was doing that someone took the wrong drink to my table and when I checked if they knew I also ordered food they were unaware? They have a computerised order system that prints out dockets, and I had a visible table number. They could have done so much better!
