I got the ‘Bramble Brekkie’ with avocado. I expected a sort of English breakfast style with sourdough and relish, since it cost $17. I got a sandwich. A $17 sandwich. That wasn’t even that good, it was dry, and it was small. I could make something better at home with ingredients I have in the fridge, for half the price. I’m all about supporting local businesses. But before you start trying to charge customers $17 for a sandwich I really advise you to do a reality check about what people are actually willing to pay money for. ‱ You’re right next to a 4 lane main road, with idiots who love to speed along. Not your fault, but something to consider. ‱ The decor of your shop says ‘tarts and beans’ everywhere, which is the name of the previous shop I assume. It made finding the shop confusing, and makes it seem like you’re not fully devoted to setting up the business properly. ‱ You’re just starting up, you should be trying to be different, to get customers with really good food at a really good price. At the moment you just seem like a very generic, try-hard cafe that’s going to shut down within the next 12 months. Good luck with it all, but unless there are some major changes to the way you’re running things, I won’t be visiting again.

Imagine sipping your coffee with the beach just steps away, a refreshing sea breeze enhancing every sip – this beachfront cafĂ© is a little slice of paradise. The setting is lovely, with plenty of both indoor and outdoor seating so you can pick a spot to suit your mood. Inside, the dĂ©cor is a cheerful mix of bright colors and charming touches that add to the fun, relaxed vibe. The staff here are friendly and attentive, always making you feel welcome. For families, this place is a gem! They offer a good range of kid-friendly menu options, making it easy for everyone to find something they’ll enjoy. One small note: the restroom is located outside the cafĂ©, so you’ll need to ask for a key to access it, but it’s an easy and practical setup. While there’s no dedicated parking lot, street parking nearby usually has a few open spots, so finding a place for the car isn’t too much trouble. This cafĂ© really captures the local spirit – a casual, friendly spot where you can enjoy great food and soak up the beach atmosphere, perfect for unwinding solo or bringing the whole family along.

Visited BBG on a tiktok recommendation but the drinks were nothing like shown in the promo video. The crem brulee had no brulee and the strawberry matcha tasted only of strawberry milk. On-top of this the food was not as ordered though the Avo toast was nice enough. Very long wait times, and the disappointment of reality vs expectations really set this up for failure.

Went in to grab a takeaway coffee. It was pretty good without being outstanding. Location is a bit tough to get to so probably not somewhere I’ll frequent. The service was a little awkward for want of a better word. The lady who served me and made my coffee seemed very anxious. That’s totally ok. Just as she finished serving me another (seemingly younger) lady came to the counter - almost pushing in. I noticed her serve another customer and she seemed openly hostile. At best it was very poor service, but there was a weird vibe in the whole place like some argument had just happened? I don’t know if this was a once off due to something having happened earlier, but based on that experience I...
