Gloria Jean's Burpengary — Restaurant in Greater Brisbane

I have been a loyal customer to Gloria Jeans Burpengary, for some time now. Service has been distasteful recently as I was in there the other day and heard the staff criticising the cleaners that work at the shopping centre. In my personal experience with the cleaners they have been nothing but nice, beautiful and professional workers. I would like to say the cleaners have done nothing but a fantastic job keeping the centre clean while the renovations where being done and are still doing a GREAT job keeping the Centre clean. To you Gloria Jeans maybe if you spent less time on bitching about people and more time on presentation (i.e. on how the shop looks) you wouldn’t have a problem at all. If you are not happy with the way the centre is being cleaned then maybe you should clean it yourself… in conclusion if you spent less time on bitchy about cleaners you would find your customer would stay and not be leaving for Cj’s pastries where the environment is a LOT HAPPIER and MORE FRIENDLY. When you make an order and you go to pick it up after a really hard day and its not what you ordered and you question them and the (owner i assume) insisted i asked for this when i did not and she was not even the one who took my order! She was extremely rude when i asked her to remake it and refused to remake what i actually asked for. I asked for a chilled not hot drink. She carried on about how it would cost her money to remake it. Well guess what it just cost me over 5 bucks for something i did not ask for and instead of you making a PROFIT from me multiple times a week, me and my friends wont be stepping foot in this place! Cant tell me my money would not have covered the cost of both drinks and kept me coming back. Pretty pathetic! Atleast if i ordered a frappe from maccas i would have gotten what i wanted and if they get it wrong...

Sunday 19th @ approx 1.45pm. Waiting ages for coffees, plus so did customers after me. Staff were busy packing down (no issue with this) the barista was standing there chatting for ages to senior staff member. She could see people waiting. Senior staff member looked ove4 her shoulder and asked if I needed to be served. I said I had been, but been waiting fir some time and it didn't appear that coffees were being made. She just turned her back to me. I wasn't rude, I was just stating a fact. The barista, didn't acknowledge me and proceeded to take her time. When I get back to my car, I realised that one of the two coffees were not was was ordered. Definitely would not return. Not the first time there's been poor service at this...
