Your TAB service is the biggest joke in the Queensland (this isn’t a punters rage). I am a casual punter, I don’t have online accounts as I don’t place bets often. However, occasionally I visit an establishment on my way to place and duck in to place a few bets. The past 2 times I have stopped into burpengary tavern and both times I’ve have ended up spending 20 mins with staff to get my money back. The first time I went in on my way to an event with a spare 5 minutes, put $100 in the machine to place 5 bets on the races. Placed one bet, machine cooked itself, couldn’t get receipts, couldn’t get money back. Had my first bet lose, all other 4 bets win but due to your terrible machines and incompetence to fix your establishment and what is faulty, I missed a total of $380 in winnings. I spent 25 mins with staff while on the phone to tab to get a refund, finally got money back and because I was there just placed on random raced after having missed the ones I planned to get on, lost all the money (I get that it’s the way with gambling but I wouldn’t of if your machines weren’t faulty) I was also late to my event. Again today, returned, same thing happened, put $50 in, first race I got on, by the time I’m placing my 2nd the same fault happened. I missed the winning race and $150 in winnings, the lady explained it was the new printer well if it’s happened to me 2/2 times in my visits I wonder how actual members feel being a part of this place. They don’t care to fix it, I wasn’t wait as long this time only 10 mins as had to wait for 3 different staff to know what to do, but still missed out on winnings, waste of time, waste of money, waste of space this place. Start to show your members some care and fix the faults. Again I only bet here and there imagine your regulars and how they feel, I’ve now missed out on almost $400 in winnings because of that same machine...
Read moreBooked a table for mothers day, yes today. Got there before 5.00pm. Ordered by 5.45pm. Saw so many uber eats going out the door but no table service. By 6.50pm we had had enough especially with a 16 month old. Also on ordering we were told no burgers, no steak sandwiches, no pasta, no fish - really what do you have. That should have been our trigger. By 6.50pm we then questioned where our meal was and it was still going to be another 20 minutes. Chef was abusive. Bye bye and will never return. The pokies are structured tight so don't pay, and that revolting high wattage neon sign needs removed completely or moved so people don't have to put up with it everynight in bedroom windows.
