DO NOT GET BREAKFAST FROM GYG ROTHWELL - TERRIBLE SERVICE & FOOD 25/09/2024 6:05am if you are wanting a delicious and well-made breakfast and expecting the meal that you have PAID for and WANTED, then GYG Rothwell is not the place for you!! A friend and I ordered our breakfast (breakfast burrito and avocado toast with eggs on the side) at the GYG Rothwell drive through. The girl at the window repeated my order correctly twice through the speakers and in person for payment. As we received our meals in the bag, I was stunned to find that my order was not there and I was in fact given a whole quesadilla with chorizo in a box (Iām allergic to chorizo). So we drove back and walked in to receive my actual order that I was after in the first place. Staff were content and apologised however, as it was early in the morning and there was not a single other customer around, there should be no excuses. They proceeded to give me my order and two free vouchers and I drove off once more. However, for the second time after paying for a meal, I did not receive my full order FOR A SECOND TIME IN A ROW as I paid an extra $3.50 for eggs and did not revive ANY on the avo toast!!!! I headed back for a SECOND TIME to actually get what I paid EXTRA money for and the order that I WANTED, and were surprised that the morning staff were very rude to me by rolling their eyes at me etc when all they had to do was make a simple order correct in the first place (there was 5 staff on at the time). After placing cold and wet eggs on my toast, I eventually gave up and walked away with the meal that should have only taken 10 minutes of my morning to make, not an hour and a half of my time. Definitely not worth the money or time of day, wasted fuel and time too. Train your staff properly to actually make the meals as ordered and paid for!!! No excuses will be taken for this one as there was not a single customer in sight during this time and the employees should be expected to do their job, NOT EVER COMING HERE AGAIN!! Got to the counter where a girl named AMY (we think thatās her name as one of her colleagues told us once we asked) just double checking itās lactose free? In the most rudest reply āno we donāt have Lactose freeā we said okay we did ask for it and she rolled her eyes and walked off, so we sat at the window for almost 5 mins yelling out hello???? No one wanted to come see us, like what are we ment to do ??? Just sit here with a drink we canāt have??? So this Amy girl can hear us but sheās ignoring us, then finally my husband starts to get mad, so Amy told someone else to come deal with us, she was lovely gave us a refund and apologised
The point is, we were not mad or anything about the situation till this Amy girl treated us so rudely and walked off without even saying sorry or even replying to the mistake she had made, once she started ignoring us is when we got mad. Like who would t be mad at this point.

We have been to this restaurant twice. I would have eaten there a few more times but the shared parking is small and does not have very many spaces. So, we end up going to Carl Jr's instead. Both times the tables had not been wiped down so we had to clean a space ourselves. The disposable knife is not good enough to cut the burrito that they call an enchilada. It was difficult to eat it. I left half behind because it was mostly tortilla and no filling. The drive-thru traffic crosses the front door where people are trying to cross to the carpark. So take care crossing. We were thinking about trying a different location but while writing this review I saw the chain's response to other reviewers. If all they can do is cut and past a "go to our link and tell us more" response over and over then I don't want to give them any more business.
