Oporto Rothwell Drive Thru — Restaurant in Greater Brisbane

We had a nice enough experience this morning with the kids burger with chips for our two year old toddler.

My husband showed our two year old the small tuk tuk vehicle in the corner.

We hoped it was unlocked for him to pretend to drive or to take a foto it would of made us all very happy.

My husband asked the supervisor or manager if our two year old could sit in the tuk tuk promising that it won't be set on fire or damaged and we won't Sue you. We just wanted the toddler to have a.little play.

But he was met with excuses about how the keys are not on site.

My husband was very calm fearing a violent tantrum from our two year old. He could of called the seemingly unempathetic and clearly not a parent staff all sorts of names but did not.

He passively aggressively said to the supervisor manager person.

" You will have kids one-day and you are going to be in for a shock".

Our toddler has dads bike he can pretend to play on and a cheap plastic.playsstation wheel he can on too.

It just would of been nice for Romeo to have a little play on the Oporto tuk tuk in the corner of the store.

We might go to Carl's JNr or Guzman Gomez last time.

Money is too hard to be earned and thrown away on those not deserving it.

The food was really nice.

The music was good.

The restaurant was clean.

What is worse however .... We went to the McDonald's North lakes and McDonald's Redcliffe and they do not clean, their playground at all. They...

Was excited about oportos finally coming closer. Have been 4 times now and 3 of those times have been told no grilled pieces or 20 minute wait. 2 of those times I was given the WRONG meal so lost out of money big time and could not eat the food. Lucky I was not allergic. Tonight went again waited a very long time again, then the girl hands us our food saying what it was I said NO we asked for blah blah and she and the first girl said yeah thats right you have the right meal I was just checking you paid ( very rude ). Disgusting! Drove through last night. $70 for 4 - 4 wrap meals, 4x 600mls drinks & 2x 10pk of Churros. I should have said "No Thanks" and kept driving. The wraps were chock full of some really heavy stodgy rice looking mix which was sort of like trying to swallow a tablespoon of smooth peanut butter in your mouth all at once and we are still trying to find the chicken. Not a pleasant culinary experience. An empty store and we were the only car at the time of ordering - we were short on a box of Churros so our order was taken back, left enclosed in brown paper bags while we waited for them to be cooked.
