The food is below subpar and always loosely thrown into a bag instead of individually packaged. The sausage roll filling is too hard and not at all pleasing to eat. The croissants are always cold, I have never been served a croissant I have been able to eat straight away, I have to go home and reheat to enjoy. The Hot Chocolate does not have enough chocolate and they don’t serve it with marshmallows or sugar, which is very disappointing. The service is not at the level it should be for the exorbitant prices they charge, I have dined in several times and the atmosphere is unwelcoming. We absolutely love Landing Bakery! The food is always top quality, the coffee is excellent, and the team is so welcoming and friendly every time we visit. The fit-out has such a great coastal vibe, and being right across from the beach makes it the perfect weekend stop with the kids, grab your coffee, some pastries, and head straight over to the sand! I bought a morning bun on Friday and it was an ethereal experience. The Landing have somehow managed to create a perfect pastry. Moist but crisp, sweet but not overbearing. This bun consumed my thoughts all day Friday so I bought another on Saturday and guess what?! It was just as incredible! Well done guys on creating a beautiful space and beautiful food.
