Making a reservation with this restaurant is very unprofessional and displays a lack of customer service. I called the restaurant 3 times to make a booking for a table for 2 and each time it went straight to user busy. A chat portal between staff and customers is very unprofessional of a business that thrives on customers having a good experience whilst dealing with the business and it’s employees.
I’m not pleased that I had to give my contact details via a chat portal, instead of talking to a staff member. I feel that this method of contacting the restaurant is a breach of privacy for customers and doesn’t instil much trust or confidence with the use, storage and handling of customer information.
When, I eventually made a booking for 6.30pm for 2 people, via the risky chat portal that took twice as long to do, as it’s too hard to simply pick up a phone and talk to customers…I had to spend 15-20 minutes to make said booking as I had to wait around for a response and confirmation from the restaurant. This delay caused me to have no time to pick up a cake for my friends birthday that was supposed to be dessert tonight…highly frustrated and angry at the delay and laziness that the employees of this business caused.
When we arrived at the restaurant for our reservation, the staff member at the register told us where our table is. What the hell? In every restaurant I have either worked in or visited, customers are taken/shown to their table by a staff member, and then given water and menus. What kind of customer service is this? I am appalled and disgusted by this whole experience.
In the time that we had been seated at our table, we watched 2 staff members clear tables- the customers had clearly left, another was seating a table of customers and another was standing at the register appearing to care more about the far more interesting things on their phone, then starving customers within the restaurant. The customers that had arrived after us, were placing their orders before us, we hadn’t received water, menus or even a warm welcome from staff. I am throughly disgusted that the staff had chosen to point out our table and then proceeded to ignore us. We stormed out after 20 minutes of waiting and attempting to get someone’s attention.
I’m very disappointed and appalled at the lack of customer service and highly unprofessional behaviour of staff. What happened to building customer rapport? the front of house staff don’t seem to care that they are the faces of the business, they are the faces that the customers deal with first. Or they simply don’t care for the business or their jobs…but without the customers of the business, they wouldn’t have jobs….
I have 7 years of experience within hospitality industry, both back and front of house, if I had given any customer/patrons the service we received tonight, I would have been in huge strife with management and my supervisor. I have never experienced such negligence and lack of customer service. In my experience, a table waiting for service should come first over clearing dirty dishes.
Why is clearing a table with no customers more important than serving customers?
I am absolutely so incredibly angry that the staff here decided that it’s ok to ignore customers.
We had come to celebrate my friend’s birthday, the staff were aware of this and still choose to be unprofessional, lazy and ignorant. How selfish and disrespectful of the staff of this business?? I wouldn’t be this angry and upset if it was a normal evening but it was my friends birthday. The front of house staff soured my friend’s birthday dinner…
I highly recommend coming to this restaurant if you want to dehydrate, starve and be...

Read moreThere is a Vietnamese restaurant in the Redcliffe area with a wide variety of menu options including rice dishes, soups, stir-fries, appetizers, and coffee drinks.
The pho soup is delicious, and if they offered options for different cuts of meat (such as a special pho), it would make the restaurant perfect. However, I am impressed with the generous portion sizes.
The fried rice portions are substantial and well-prepared, with the seasoning coating the rice perfectly.
What impressed me the most are the condiments. They offer authentic pho sauces, as well as salt and chili.
