Multiple times, my order was wrong, sometimes giving me the meat patty (when I ask to swap for angus) in a separate box to the burger. This order today, is why I am posting finally about this store. I watched 6-8 other cars pass through drive through in the other lane, some moving from behind me to the other ordering lane, I was waiting for over 10mins before I got to order, ordered, then got to the pay window, the order was wrong, adjusted then I was given my drink and asked to park, I watched more cars drive through l, watched another car park, and when the othwr car recieved their order THEN I was given mine, the othwr car was in the car park, pulled in after i had parked in the parking bay (which would mean i was there first). I recieved my order and drive off (medium Angus meal), by the time my order came it was just over 20mins in total from driving in to driving out. (Time was 1.30 when I drove in, not midday, not 3.10pm). Drove off, open the bag to eat some of my fries, the fries were half full (around the size of a small), and they were cold. Absolutely fed up with this store. I will drive the extra distance or just avoid McDonalds where possible now, I dont get take away food often, so the off chance I get to have fast food, is a little treat. But this experience has turned my off the basic option, I think I'll try Hungry Jacks or KFC next. Side note on the wait time in drive through, last time I visited i was half way through ordering at the microphone, they asked if I could wait a second (sounded like they needed some assistance or needed to attend to something), i waited, then watched the othwr lane pass 3 or so cars, before they returned to my order and I needed to start over. Lane 2 seems to get secondary attention, Lane 1 has, on multiple occasions, been the lane that seems to progress through. Not sure why. But both times this has happened I have left frustrated and wishing I didnt actually stop in to get something "quick" on the way past.
Poor customer service. Poor food delivery, and often poor food presentation (often looking like they litterally just throw ingredients in a box, close it up and hand to customers. I am always polite, understanding, and kind, I have never once spoken up to the staff onsite, because I consider that the people I interact with might not even be the ones causing the problems.
Vent over, I now have a restaurant I will avoid...
Read moreWent there at 7pm 07/01/24 . Custom trip for 2 crème brûlée frappes. Told they don’t have them here by window 1 . Asked for 2 chocolate sundae with hot sauce and a flake in both … asked twice and also for manager . Got to window 2 and received both ice cream but no flake , I told the girl I asked for them but she told me that they are not on the order so I won’t be getting them , I told her I asked for them and she replied that she won’t be putting them in and I need to drive thru AGAIN and pay for them . I then asked her if she thinks that’s fair ?. She replied AGAIN that I need to drive thru again and pay for them , I asked for the manager, I told the manager by issue and she replied that I should not talk to her staff that way …. Absolutely I was very stern and upset BUT I didn’t swear or call her names or belittle her but asked in a very stern manner “ do you think it’s fair that I have to do that when it’s not my fault “ . The manger was polite and professional and poor young girl was in tears and very upset . I’m sorry but if she cannot handle customers who are upset she should not be on the front line and maccas once again you have totally screwed it all up , Motto of this “ make sure you have stock before advertising something and train your staff to get the manager to fix things . Do I feel bad for upsetting her … yes and very much BUT MacDonald’s if you want to hire young people you need to train them and accept that you have KIDS serving people and MAKE SURE YOU HAVE STOCK then you bag on all day on tv about a product….. to the girl who probably has to go home after this , I’m so sorry little one BUT your not in school anymore and if you make mistakes with people’s orders or screw up with not keep customers happy then this is what happens in the big world , your not in school where they are not allowed to talk harsh to you or pacify you even when your wrong . The manager was professional and calm BUT she could see what was happening and she sat there and done little …. I won’t be back as I have had enough of issues and problems with...
Read moreCredit where credit is due! 9 months ago, I felt obliged to write a poor review (see below) based on my experience for my family, and they have either listened, or picked up their game spontaneously. Fresh food, always better than in the Morayfield store. Always tastes nicer. My only gripe now is that they keep skimping on pickles on qualifying burgers and we have to keep going back to claim them, hence the 4 (not 5) star rating. Great turnaround, Maccas! Thanks for listening.
NINE MONTHS EARLIER... Just picture a little minus (-) sign next to that star, and you're just about there. I've never seen such an apathetic bunch in all my time as a Maccas customer, than at McDonald's Caboolture City on this fateful night. ALL of our food was cold. My freshly made cappuccino was so tepid and classified as borderline chilled, that I had to have a new one made. And then I heard every word of the barista's grumble session as she was sent to remake it. The atmosphere was thick with gloom, and we were unofficially made aware that no one was having a good time. Fortunately, we had purchased food to take home and eat less than 5 minutes down the road, because I had to microwave my burger when I opened it out of the bag and then air fry the chips to make them warm enough to be enjoyable. Poor form, Maccas. Even for a late night, anyone deserves to...
