We wanted to acknowledge Rendezvous Book Store and Cafe for such a welcoming caring place to eat in Dayboro. The young girl who served us was so careful with my husbands order as he has dreadful food intolerances. She listened carefully and he was more than happy with his custom gluten free breakfast wrap. I had the corn fritters and they were quite yummy also. The prices are fair compared to the others in Dayboro ' based on that we will certainly return when passing through again. I often find myself thinking of Rendezvous as I wait for coffee at some other far away establishment...and wait...and wait.... Why can't they be more like Rendezvous? When I'm at Rendezvous all I think is that I'm at a nice place with books. The selection of book titles is considered. My partner and I enjoyed coffee and lunch at Rendezvous at the weekend. Nice food and good service but we were disappointed that staff didn't follow up on covid 19 precautions. A sheet of paper lay on the service desk with a pen, couldn't see any info about writing contact details which we did anyway. Staff didn't mention it and as we enjoyed our lunch we noticed a number of customers either not notice it or purposely not fill in their contact details.
