Bought 2 x $11 soups. one spilt in the bag and lost 1/2 of it, didnt even make it to the car. The lady told me it was my fault that i held the bag wrong. I found the lid wasnt put on properly. And seriously if your soups can leak everywhere because u hold the bag wrong, you need new containers. The lady then told me she would fix it, took it back out to the kitchen and I watched her pour the soup out of the plastic bag and back into my soup container. Yuk! Hubby got home to find his seafood soup had 1 prawn and my prawn soup had 3. If this was a $7 soup no problem, but for $11 i can get loads of prawns and a meal that feeds us twice from our local indian and noodle place. Writing this review because when i rang and complained they basically just argued with me that all was fine 'i was holding the bag wrong, and 1-3 prawns was standard'. Really! they gave the bag to me, i picked it up by the handles, and i started walking to my car....which i think is a pretty stsndard technique. So here is my 'all is...
Read moreSince I was born until the age of 18 my dads “go to” take out dinner was Thai. Our favourite meal was chicken Penang with coconut rice. we only ever went to one shop called “The Thai Orchid” in Brisbane and they made the most amazing, moist, coconut rice you’d ever have in your life. It was addictive. The shop ended up moving. We tried other places but nothing was ever the same, always bland and dry. I had the most amazing meal tonight and I’m utterly in awe how delicious it is. 1000% will be ordering from you again and recommend you. your quality of...
Read moreOur regular thai was closed so we thought we'd try somewhere new. Sadly we were really disappointed with our take away despite the good reviews. The pineapple rice had no flavour with about 5 small pieces of chicken and minimal veg, the pad thai was extremely soggy with an absurd amount of chilli thrown in on top and an overpowering taste of aniseed/cloves ruined the chilli basil dish. They did give us a free portion of veggie curry puffs which was a nice gesture and the price was considerably cheaper than most other thai places. However, I think we would rather pay more and have a meal we can enjoy instead of putting it in the bin after a few mouthfulls. Sadly won't...
