πππππ Five-Star Review for Zecca Handmade Italian Restaurant! πππππ
Oh boy, where do I even begin? My taste buds are still doing a happy dance from the pasta maccheroni I devoured at Zecca Handmade Italian restaurant. It was a symphony of flavors that left me speechless (and that's saying something for someone who talks as much as I do!).
First things first, let's talk about portion sizes. You know how some places think "small" is the new "big"? Well, not here, my friend. At Zecca, they take portion sizes seriously. When my plate arrived, I swear it could have fed a small village. I had enough pasta to build a life-sized maccheroni sculpture! It was a delicious overload, and I loved every single bite.
Now, let's discuss the decor. The moment I stepped into Zecca, I felt like I had entered a trendy Italian paradise. The atmosphere was vibrant, the colors were inviting, and the overall design had me snapping pictures for my Instagram faster than a food blogger at a buffet. They nailed the perfect balance between modern chic and cozy comfort. It's the kind of place where you can feel fancy without worrying about accidentally dropping spaghetti sauce on your shirt (we've all been there).
Zecca is the pasta paradise you've been dreaming of. With delightful and tasty dishes, generous portion sizes and a cool decor, it's the perfect recipe for an unforgettable dining experience. Trust me, you won't leave disappointed (unless you're disappointed that you can't stay and eat...

However, it took 20 minutes for them to come to our table for the first time, then another 30 minutes to bring us our antipasto, which was not nearly enough for one person, let alone for sharing. We were three people, and each one only had a chance to try one tiny slice of prosciutto, along with a spoonful of rocket with a little bit of ricotta on top. That was $18. Our main course also wasnβt nearly enough to feed anyone. The pork shoulder was medium rare, which may have been done on purpose but I find it odd to eat pink pork. We left the restaurant still hungry after spending $117 for two adults and one child. And the worst part is that the food was nothing out of the ordinary, it was good but not any better than the other Italian places in town which are much cheaper with a better...

An abundance of staff that seemed only to achieve a stilted experience for my fiance and me. Waitress hovering over us to take our plates literally as we ate the last morsel of our first course. Mains came out: large pasta, steak, fish dish, x2 plates for spooning pasta. Our steak and fish mains were dispatched but our (now empty mains) plates remained stacked (by us) on the edge of the table. For the rest of the time. It was actually difficult to eat. Multiple staff members walked past and didn't remove them. Nobody came to ask if our mains were fine etc, either, which is always a nice touch when that happens. As soon as we stood up our plates were removed and the table cleaned. Quite strange.
Nice place, incredible food. Just a bit awkwardly, clumsily overstaffed which had a...
