Holy moly, that enchilada meal is a hunger vuster! Tasty too. Good value.
I came here at 1230pm hungry hungry. Like, no breakfast hungry. I've never eaten here before so I was hoping for something traditional and filling. The enchilada was an easy choice to make. It took 11 minutes to come out. Longer in my hungry brain but to the store's credit, it was only 11 minutes, at lunchtime and delivery orders coming and going fast, so they did great. Every one was clearly working their best, and smiling.
Yeh. That enchilada... As soon as it was put on my table, my empty stomach worried it couldn't eat it all. I went from "god I hope this isn't a stingy-sized meal" to "by Zues, this thing is gonna destroy me" in 1 second flat. Did I eat it all? Spoiler alert: yes, just. I think I won't need dinner tonight.
I loved it. I got mine with black beans, spicey, and chicken. Chicken was bbq, seared, tender, smokey. Generous amount too. Side of salsa, guac, and corn chips. Not too much cheese which is my preference. I paid just under $25 for the meal which included a Jarritos (Mandarin).
The meal comes with wooden cutkery. It can be slow-going sometimes because of the enchilada itself. That said, it stopped me from scoffing it, meaning I was able to enjoy it more thoroughly. Or pro-tip: next time byo travel cutlery.
Chips - fries? - were great too.
Get into the pickled jalepeno over at the Salsa Station. Pickled with carrots. I also hit up the smokey chipotle sauce. Hoboy, sneaky spicey!
Decor is encoraging. This store is more geared to take-away if only that there are only 4 booths and five 2-seater tables as well as having a tight and small car park. I like to eat my food fresh-hot, take-away and delivery don't interest me for Mexican food. Also, imagine eating this mega-huge and structurally complex enchilada while driving! Life-hack: DO NOT ENCHILADA AND DRIVE!
Overall, very impressed by this...
Read moreOne star review to grab attention but it does reflect how I am feeling. I know how much a one star review can affect a business, but it would’ve been resolved had my experience left me a raving fan instead of an unhappy customer. I placed an order at 4:10pm to pick up at 5:15pm. Realised I had made an incorrect selection of an item. Called at 4:11pm upon realising that I can’t modify my order in the app. I queried changing the order and the man on the phone told me that I was able to change this when I came into the store to collect the items. When I arrived I approached the counter and reiterated what I was told on the phone, and the manager had to be called over. He explained that it wasn’t possible to change the order as it goes through the app. I asked why I was told that it could be changed in store by the person on the phone and he in his words said “I can make a complaint”. So I did. I’ve made a complaint using the form and I am making a complaint here. I still had to make an order for the correct item regardless, but I wasn’t offered any compensation for being told the wrong information. Still had to pay in full for the food. I feel like the complaint form will be overlooked at this stage, much like my...
Read moreI'm sure its a lovely place to dine in. But as a dasher the pickup experience is terrible. A young small lady who works there on the August 8th evening time around 9pm gave me an absolute nightmare, it takes nothing to be nice.
The small lady asked me to show my insulated bag, to which I replied I don't have one on me at the moment, because I'm a new dasher, the package is still on the way. The restaurant is a minute away from my car, it won't loose much heat during a minute of travel. Won't provide me any solution to the "suggested problem", and insisted that I needed an insulated bag otherwise they can't give me the order, what am I suppose to do in this case?
Ended up having to unassign the double bundled order, which affected my completion rate significantly and lead to the deactivation of my account, and having to return the other order back to KFC next door. Called doordash support, they are of no help. I do understand from a quality control perspective, but you also have to think from other people's perspectives on their...
