Town and Country Pizzas are a Geelong institution. Their pizzas remain the cornerstone of their business model. The quality and taste between franchises varies only a little, which is impressive in this day and age. However, dining in can be difficult if you have an aversion to overly loud and/or crowded indoor restaurant spaces. Also, the service is lack-lustred. Having staff simply drop off a set of cutlery and a stack of glasses, versus spending just a few moments more to set up the table feels more like a "McDonalds fast food, in and out, here's your food, leave as quick as possible" experience, than a "welcome, sit back and relax, let us serve you and make you feel right at home as we do everything". Equally frustrating is how different orders come out at different times (often 5-10 mins) differences, where you're resigned to watching others on the table eating before their meal gets cold, while you wait for yours... only to feel rushed when it does come. Oh, and the staff leaning right across you to serve, versus walking around the table and serving from one side and removing from the opposite. No, "excuse me, do you mind if I just lean across to grab that?" No, you may be in mid-conversation and have a staff member just interrupt things by leaning directly across the table...? The hard surfaces in the space echo and bounce noises everywhere. It's very hard to speak, without raising your voice to be heard. Some people might not find this an issue. Personally, it's just a very tiring and uncomfortable feeling. I'd much prefer a quieter, more relaxed, and professional customer service experience. But as I said at the beginning of this review, the pizzas are very good, as are many of their pasta dishes. If the food is all you're interested in and not so much the service, this venue is completely fine to visit then.

When I lived in Melbourne, we'd drive down for a T&C pizza. When I was living in WA, one of the first things Id do on coming back home for a holiday was get a T&C pizza. I recently had jaw surgery, meaning I have been on a restricted, soft diet, but the last thing I ate beforehand was.. you guessed it: T&C pizza. First thing I ate when I was allowed to eat normie food? T&C. When the first Covid lock down was imminent and every one was stocking up on flour and toit rolls, I stocked up on beer and T&C pizzas. The only time Ive ever had issues with an airport drug dog was at Tulla and this cute Beagle kept sitting next to me. Cops searched me twice. In the end they reckon the Beagle wanted some of my carry-on food: cold T&C pizza. Love, people, is a beautiful thing, keep it in your life, its important.

It is our family’s tradition to drive down to Anglesea beach for a swim, then stop by here on the way home for pizza and pasta. We do really like this place as the pizza and pasta is always tasty, and service is great. One small thing I love is how they actually cut the pizza slices, where we can just get any slice without having to do extra cutting like some other places. The family sized BBQ pizza and fettuccine carbonara is our standard go-to. Nothing fancy, but doesn’t disappoint.

Sorry, but returned today for a credit on a grossly undercooked Pizza ordered a month or so ago. Appreciate the offer after going hungry and having to reheat the pizza for an hour, after which it was terrible. Today, On the first slice after pleading too cook it well, I had to return to have it re-cooked. It was just barely reheated and not much better. The owner firstly told me I had too many ingredients on the pizza, which I replied it was a Country Special with prawns, then he went on to tell me next time to order with a thin crust to which I replied, there is no thin crust option. Others have told me they have been told to order it well done next time? Since When??? Wasn't just the cooking of the pizza but the taste, firsly no garlic as stated but the ingredients seem to have gone down hill in quality, a micro smear a tomatoe sauce, no mushrooms whatso ever, no garlic or herbs, chunky cut undercooked capsucum and a tasteless dry base, not proofed and no oil or salt. Like a store bought or frozen base that normally only 4-5 ingredients can be a glorious base or focacia. I would never order Prawns, If I knew I had to pick them off first to de- shell the tails. Never before and never again! It wouldnt allow me to post any photos and funny all recent reviews appear to be absent! This is the worst sub standard Pizza I have ever had and it was your second...

Prices are above average but so is the quality. Get what you pay for and what you get is a delicious pizza! It's been a family favourite of mine for "lashing out" and spending a bit more for a pizza but it's just that, a treat when you do. Eat in has nice indoor outdoor options, but take out to eat in your own leisure is even better.

Good solid base variety with some quirky twists for the adventurous. Delivery as of today is a very reasonable extra couple dollars.

Staff hired are friendly and considerate eg, 3 friends and I chose to sit at a single table and order two large pizzas, wait staff figured out our mistake as we were barely realising it ourselves and offered us a larger table which was well appreciated.

Town and Country Special is a personal favourite being a lover of everything but olives and anchovies, but the basics like an Aussie or Hawaiian are chick full of toppings so don't feel like you're missing quantity by ordering a less toppings pizza

Kudos Town and Country Don't start skimping out on us and we won't start complaining about the price. Fair trade for...
