Club Gunnedah — Restaurant in Gunnedah

Drinks were very expensive, more so than Marree SA and Hawker SA. This appears to be price gouging.

Menu limited with the only vegetarian option being vegetarian spring rolls and a fairly bland Margarita pizza.

Very disappointed and won’t be going back and would recommend visitors not to attend!

Came here on my lonesome for a quick dinner and a beer. Front counter guy was friendly and helpful. Beers were cold and reasonably priced. Not a huge selection of meals available, but what you would expect for a club bistro. I ordered the Chicken Cabonara as I was after something light. It was tasty enough (I assume) and the size was right for the price, but it was obviously microwaved before being served, because the first mouthful took the skin off my tongue. Had a meal there tonight for two, fish & chips, roast of the day which was pork. Have been there in the past could not complain. Tonight the both meals terrible. Did not eat the baked potatoes, old boiled potatoes on a grill dried out, pork covered in gravey. Was warned by the motel not to go there. Should have taken there advice.
