All these slices they sell are just coles slices 2 pack for 5.50, and they sell them for 5.50 each and claim to make everything from scratch and not mark up 🧐 Edit to reply: I saw with my own eyes the Heinz soup can on the oven. Here is the photo proof. I witnessed the woman lick her fingers and handle the food. I watch all the slices be opened from the coles packets and cupcakes too and stocked in the shelf. I post a genuine review because I ordered from here and was mortified by witnessing the soup can after a chicken soup order was just made. Mt cheesy chips were awful. I know people who pack your coles orders and I know for a fact you constantly order hot chook, and the coles slices and cupcakes so you can't say I'm lying. I want others to know what they are eating. Now with your terrible replies to anyone who tries to give you a bad review, it's understandable why no one comes to you directly. This is exactly why i chose not to because I saw how quick to the defence the replies were to bad reviews. It's what reviews are for. Get used to it. Not everyone is going to have perfect reviews, and if you choose to serve food that isn't actually baked by you, then you have to expect it. Geez

We have been to the Beacon a few times & always thoroughly enjoyed the amazing real food & great portion sizes! Excellent!! So many choices & everything made from scratch with real veggies!! Last night we went in & randomly asked if they do soups - not on menu but thought we'd ask - YES! Peta whipped us up a roast pumpkin soup - old home-made style topped with sour cream, & an excellent full-flavour chicken broth soup!! Soooo AWESOME!! Thankyou for your beautiful above & beyond service & friendliness!!

I cannot recommend this place enough. I often travel for work and am in hotels without cooking facilities and it is so nice to be able to eat something that tastes fresh and home cooked. The lady (who I assume runs the place as she is always there, not sure of her name) is so so friendly and accommodating. The meals are really fairly priced, cheaper than a pub meal. I can’t comment on the fish and chip etc takeaways, but the meals you give 1-2 hours notice for are always great.

Every single time I order they never ever give edible food the calamari is that dry and over cooked I can't even chew it into pieces the steak burgers are that over cooked and charcoal tasting I can't get past the burnt flavour they either drown it in sauce to the point that's all you taste or they put no sauce at all.. I have wasted 100s of $ multipul complaints and still nothing has changed iv worked I hospitality my family work in hospitality my mother is a chef. I'm not the type to do this and write a review that is so terrible but I've honestly had enough and It's straight up disrespectful to serve food in such a way when someone has paid so much money.

EDIT REPLY, I cant seem to reply directly to your response sorry, but actually I did reach out have done the last bunch of occasions. I understand finding good staff and training them is quite difficult but maybe to avoid such situations the management need to look over the food themselves before being packaged and sent off, especially if your not fully confident in the staff due to difficulty in training, again which is understandable. If there is no negative reviews how will the buisness...

I’m usually not one to leave bad reviews, but I’m so upset with my meal. Ordered a roast of the week and the roast “lamb” was the so chewy I couldn’t even finish it and I was starving, and the taste being as if it was frozen or left in a fridge for days and reheated in a microwave. I don’t expect anything to be super fresh but I didn’t expect that, I do believe you’s have heaps of delicious things the burgers are great but the roasts shouldn’t taste or be that solid..

Edit: they asked for me to reach out and I did, never got a response. About a week after I ordered the roast I had gotten a parmi. I don’t know if it was on purpose but they give me plain chicken with abit of melted cheese. I had to put cheese and sauce on it myself. And no the uber driver isn’t “responsible” this time. And I’m really upset that a restaurant would point the finger at everyone else and not just acknowledge the need improvement. We aren’t giving bad reviews to be petty. It’s so that people can see if their money will...
