Nice cafe, service was great and friendly, food was nice enough, but being charged $4.50 for one slice of bacon with the eggs benedict is honestly not a great look. Very very disappointing and felt somewhat robbed by that.

The issue is not charging for bacon as many places do and they also tend to offer, ham and salmon as other options (not sure who would go past bacon though 🤣), the issue is one rasher of bacon for $4.50. At the time of ordering I did not expect one piece of bacon as I have never come across that anywhere, and I wasn't going to disrupt the food I did get by mentioning it after receiving it. Thank you for the offer in the future, it is appreciated but sadly I probably won't be back in the near future 😌

This is now our “go-to” breakfast venue. We live out of town and only visit occasionally but it is always consistently pleasant.

The staff are friendly and welcoming, there is always an indoor or outdoor table waiting, and the prices are fair. Indoors you have views toward the eastern ranges surrounding Gympie, outside yesterday we had front row seats to watch the Mary Valley Rattler depart.

We are big fans of the value in the big breakfast for two (which pretty much feeds three).
