District B — Restaurant in Hobart

I don't usually give such low reviews but this one was called for. Advertised Cold Brew and didn't have any. Barista was very apathetic and you could tell he didn't want to be there. Ordered a long black and it was ready in about 10 seconds. He must have had the group head already packed with coffee. Not sure how long it had been sitting there but the coffee was undrinkable and had to be thrown out. To top it off, I was charged almost $6 for the one long black. Won't be going back. The coffee was the absolute best I have ever tasted. The pastry (almond crossiant) was delicious (full credit to Pigeon Hole bakery), the staff/owners were the most attentive to everyone who came thru their doors (or even just those who pulled up outside and had a coffee handed to them via car window), in general the furniture isn't the best for a long sit down chat, all the benches/stools were simple, small and decidedly uncomfortable. Nice coffee, very friendly and professional service. Excellent parking and location for those on the run. Good selection of food to grab and go.
