Normally I don’t give negative reviews ,because no one opens there business to dissatisfy there customers and risk there hard earned money, today I had mixed parantha meal for lunch , I must say Parantha were nicely cooked 10/10.No issues at all, Only issue was the yogurt, as soon as I took the first bite, I felt something is not right, I politely advised the staff that the yogurt is way too sour and not up to the mark.
Reply from staff- ( aab khatti go gaye to hum kya kar sakte hain). No one made any effort to rectify the issue.
( if it is sour, what can we do about it)
In my previous experience I ordered cholle bhature, asked for extra onions when I placed the order, I finished my meal but the onions never showed up, after finishing my meal I politely asked the staff, did my payment go through, staff said yes, then why did you failed to serve extra onions .still I let it go.
Reply from staff-bhool gaya main.( sorry I forgot)
I like having my Lunch at little Punjab, but these people should also realise that if you are charging the top dollar, please make sure that you are providing the right quality food.i love to support local businesses, but if someone raises a concern, it doesn’t take too much to rectify it. It’s also the kitchen team fault that they never checked the quality of food that they are sending out of the kitchen.Shame on you guys.
This literally means that they don’t care.
If I am served the same sort of food again, I will create a scene, so the owner knows what’s happening...
Read moreGood food, mostly vegetarian. A couple of times the "mild" dishes have been a little too spicy for exceptionally bland eaters (not me!).
The Thali special is good value - under $20 with "unlimited" roti although they are sometimes slow with bringing out the dish (even though it's from the Bain Marie with rice), roti and the chaat/masala tea so I have had to leave a couple of times before getting the roti and tea.
The Manchurian is delicious!
Several times there haven't been clean tables and several other tables have "sticky varnish" and a rough finish (tacky varnish is caused by a reaction to the constant use of cleaning products but can be fixed by sanding back and re-varnishing with a purpose specific lacquer product).
Short version: good food (worth coming back for) at a reasonable price, but some room for improvement in...
Read moreI recently ordered 1 chicken curry, 4 rotis, and a samosa chaat for takeaway. While the curry and rotis were absolutely fantastic, I was really disappointed with the samosa chaat. Traditionally, samosa chaat includes 2 samosas with boiled chickpeas, yogurt, green and tamarind chutneys, chaat masala, salt, a bit of finely chopped onion, and sev. Some places add tomatoes too, which is fine either way. What I received was just 2 samosas with what looked like leftover chana dal and a sprinkle of sev, no yogurt, chutneys, or other key elements. I’m curious how long have you been serving it this way? If you're trying something different with the recipe that's completely your choice but please do let customers...
