Happy Kitchen — Restaurant in Hobart

Today was my first time buying food from happy kitchen and my first time trying the food. So i have no idea what it tasted like or what they are called as am of a different race. Went there at 4:57pm and rushing to catch a bus at 5pm. The old asian woman was very rude to me and very unprofessional. I wanted to get two chicken dishes without rice and asked how much it was, she said not the same without rice and pointed me towards the price reference. As i was in a hurry i didn't have time to go through the price list and she refused to say the price verbally. I asked to get the medium size of two chicken sauces, she replied rudely, raising her voice " this is not a sauce, its a dish" I immediately corrected myself and she proceeded to put the requested dish. When i went to pay, i saw that i was to pay $18:50 but would have sworn i saw $7 or $13 when i briefly checked the price reference earlier, so naturally i was surprised and asked why i had to pay that amount, she again replied rudely that she told me it was a different price without the rice and that if i don't want it, i can bring it back. I would give zero stars if i could and I definitely do not recommend this place!!! maybe it would have been a different experience if someone else served me. The old lady was nasty and condescending. She immediately started smiling at the next female customers that were asian which she never did with me. Ps: I would have missed my bus if i stayed to argue the price or find out why i was charged that amount so i just paid, if i had time, i would have. This is what i was charged $18.50 for, absolutely...

I am not even happy to give 1 star but no choice! They don't even deserve that! Went there last week and only left with 1 piece of fish could not order any thing else because of the worst customer service ever!! So need to get rid of the old woman who just has no interest to serve and the only words she can say is NEXT?? She should know who was next if was experienced AND the eye rolling is a disgrace! She should grow up and is certainly too old for childish manners! This place must be doing so well to keep her on front of house as should be out back somewhere but I probably wouldn't like her cooking my food, maybe take care of the rubbish! Food is nice, tasty and unhealthy, the way we love it, but the customer service is absolutely abysmal. Was buying a meal for a stranger, and I told them it was to have here. The younger older Indian (I guess she's indian) grabs a paper plate,but the person then said he wanted to have it to go actually. So no problem I thought since she hadn't grabbed the food yet. So, i just let her know. She rolled her eyes, communicated, disdained for serving us and proceeded with the same attitude. This was the reason I stopped going to this place to buy myself food.
