Zambrero Inglewood — Restaurant in Inglewood

Had a mixed experience here. My son and I regularly enjoy coming here but tonight it seemed poorly organised and understaffed. We waited at least 20 minutes just to get served. Initially there was one staff member but eventually a second one arrived. Neither had any sense of urgency as the customers and uber eats drivers piled up.

Then when it finally came time to order, they had run out of rice, and guacamole, and nobody bothered to tell an Uber Eats driver, who had been waiting for 15 minutes, that the order was never going to come because they didn't have rice. When he followed up to ask where the order was, he was told bluntly that it wasn't going to come, with no apology or empathy for the time he had wasted.

The food was nice though, as always.

We have been going to this zambrero for a while but lately they have some very young staff who can't be bothered making a proper burrito. They have all their food packed up before 8pm and they don't even close until 9pm. They don't measure the fillings just use their fingers to measure when food is packed up. They've been serving a big burrito the same as a regular burrito, and once or twice we have asked and they just pretend they forgot, or say they don't add more fillings for a big one. (So why am I paying more then?) Last week I got a normal burrito and they added SO little with their fingers it looked like a mini burrito. We go very often but if this is how it's going to be we are just wasting our money here and won't be...

me and my sister went in an ordered a bowl and asked for sour cream and they pretended to scoop it out when there was nothing left in the bowl and then after my sisters bowl was made they got a fresh bowl out 5 seconds later, part of the rice was uncooked and was like sand. service was horrible and the 2 girls were very young and so blunt and made me and my family feel very unwelcome and intimidated and gave us dirty looks when we complained about the food. no customer service...
