Miaflora Garden Centre — Local services in Inglewood

Miaflora Garden Centre is such a great place to causally wander thru looking for that right plant/s that youre looking for. Its so peaceful and tranquil there that you could spend hours there browsing. There is also a gift shop attached to the Garden Centre with lots of things from little ornaments to pictures to greeting cards and more. The gentleman that was there at the time we visited acknowledged us by saying hello but left us alone to browse thru both the garden Centre and gift shop. Prices on plants are a litttle higher than some of the larger store however quality is much better and of course if you happen to live in the area, then you are supporting your local shops and community. The Cafe is lovely and the food delicious! Well worth a visit to enjoy breakfast or morning tea, staff very polite. You can choose your own seat cushion and there are games and colouring in for the children (or young at heart) to enjoy. The gift shop and nursery are pricey but that's to be expected in this kind of place. The nursery staff aren't rude, exactly, but they were weirdly dismissive and just disengaged, like we were a bother to them. Also, the plant tags for preferred sunlight are wrong. I bought a plant tagged as full sun to be told at the counter that it's marked for the Eastern States and needs partial shade over here. Will go back for the Cafe but not...

First time to this lovely place today but disappointed as I have my adult daughter in a wheelchair and we could hardly get in the front door no seating as all was reserved couldn’t go out any other doors as lack of space and no ramps … problem was not one staff member looked up and offered to give me a hand ! Had to walk out front door round the corner and enter from side entrance only to then be confronted with steps so my daughter had to get out and climb up 2 steps to sit down on veranda lucky she can actually walk we could not look at the gift shop as couldn’t access very unacceptable in...
