Commercial Hotel Junee — Restaurant in Junee

Just another poor sub standard meal from the commercial hotel. Against my better judgement we went to the commercial for lunch. We were met with the obligatory rude service by sour staff. After ignoring the rude service during the ordering of our meal we sat down and waited for our meal. When I received my pork ribs I started eating them only to find they were actually raw at the bone. They were pink and tasted like they were raw. Raw pork is something you shouldn’t you - unless you want food poisoning. There is some great bacteria in raw pork. I took it back to the kitchen and said it wasn’t cooked properly. True to form the rude kitchen staff argued with me and told me it was cooked. I thought the customer was always right The food at the commercial hotel is a disgrace and has been for a long time this is not the first bad meal we have had there. Overall a good experience but let down by the poor service from the restaurant.

A great menu, something for everyone.

My scotch fillet steak was superb, beautifully cooked and delicious.

Everyone enjoyed their meals , BUT, the kitchen seemed very disorganised, staff seemed to not know what they should be doing.

Our party of 12 placed orders for 8 and then 4 people.

They use a buzzer system to advise when meals are ready but not all meals were ready at that time, no mention of what was to come or when they would be ready.

Ultimately, the final 3 meals came 1 hour and 45 minutes after placing the order. A good as the food was, I would have to think twice...

It was my first time here (lunch) and started out with friendly staff at bar and meal order area. Menu was good with average prices. That's where I started to think maybe last time there. With only a few people around that I could see my order finally arrived 45 minutes later. Seemed a long time for a simple meal. Chicken Parmi. Looked good value for money and nice mix of veggies and nicely cooked meal. Shame the chips tasted like they had been in the cooker for that 45 mins though. Just edible.

Overall, not too bad but not sure if I would go again. 45 mins to get a meal when not many around is too long for me....
