Hungry Jack's Burgers Karawara — Restaurant in Karawara

If I could give a lower rating than one, I’d be giving .5 start rating. My grandma and I went out for lunch, when we walked in the bin was full and there was a knocked over drink on the counter that was not cleaned up. We ordered our meal, we waited 30 minutes and they have prepared our ice cream first. Half an hour later, we received the order and the ice cream was melted, the food was cold and the cups was dirty like someone had picked it up from the bin and gave it to us. I asked for chicken Royale with barbecue sauce and pickles I got the chicken Royale with none of those I went back in I said you’re missing this and this please make me a fresh one they gave it back to me with only barbecue sauce, I asked them to make it again and I didn’t apologise. I asked for a receipt twice I did not receive it, also staff was wearing jewelry which is not acceptable in fast food. Manager looked like she didn’t care about how staff were serving customers. Why did we need to wait 30 mins when they weren’t even busy, there were only 2 customers in front of us. If you going to be ending up parking every single car then you need to build more...

Sorry guys you will have to bear with me on this. I pulled up to the drive through and was asked to place my order which I did.. after I had finished placing my order I was asked to wait please, which I did... 5 minutes later!!! Could you please place your order, so patiently I did again. After conformation I was asked please drive forward. Bugger now I'm trapped. 15-20 minutes later I move 9 meters to the payment window. "I'm sorry sir can you repeat your order" so here goes for the third time. Finally I pay please move to the last window.

15-25minutes later I move 15 meters to the collection window. "Here are your drinks sir" I ordered a frozen lemonade and a strawberry thick shake. I received a lemonade and a coke... I'm sorry they are the wrong drinks.... Here we go again for the fourth time!!! "Sorry sir can you please repeat your order!" After 45 min in a drive through I was ready to explode but I kept my cool repeated my order and proceeded to wait the final 5 minutes for my meal.

What a nightmare!!!!

We give this particular franchise a shot every 6 months or so, unfortunately it's our local and it usually takes about that long to forget why we don't go there often.

Tonight's adventure? Well, it started with a drive through attendant who clearly didn't want to be there and could barely get out the words "your food" as he handed over our cold meal.

Speaking of said meal, while it was drive through, it is less than a 5 minute drive home and when we opened the bag, the chips were cold to the core, as was the burger. Almost like they'd made the birgers up at the start of the shift and forgotten to throw it in the microwave before serving it.

No receipt or napkins were either offered or provided with our order, and being drive through, we had no opportunity to grab our own napkins.

Hopefully next time I think "the burgers are better at Hungry Jacks", I'll remember they're not and go to the...
