Offers the full Dome menu, caters well for families with children or a cozy catchup with a friend. While it is fairly well patronised, due to its larger size it never seems crowded even when busy. The service has always been friendly and efficient and we like the reliable quality food and set menu we are used to at Dome. There is also an alfresco shaded outdoor seating area with plenty of tables and chairs. Looks as though it could quite easily cater for slightly larger groups well. Nice place to catch up with family and friends, and is close to the awesome Fancote Park, library and shopping centre. It's quite a gem.
Restrooms are accessed external to the building which I don't like but they are reasonably clean as access is restricted by obtaining a key from the counter. Am not fond of this set up nor the tiny size which would make the trip with a toddler or baby and pram an ordeal. Not sure if there is a disabled/multi use accessible toilet,...
Read moreAdvise against toasted cheese and tomato. Toast underdone, barely see any cheese, I think it was one of small cheap brands of sliced cheese, and it was only in the middle of the bread not towards crust, no salt or pepper..that's how come I found out about the centre. Also I was just telling the other people I was with about another Dome, where I ordered fish and chips..and how they served me that cheap packet frozen fish in batter..you know the triangle ones..and charged over $16 for it.. I was not happy and complained. I think Dome is over priced and the food is cheaply made and rubbish. I will add too, that Kelmscott had chocolate eclairs..$6.50..which looked over cooked and minimal cream. I didn't buy one naturally. $3.20 or less at Gosnells Markets at the bakery and way better quality. Down the Dome:) Oh can't post if you put no stars!!! So forgive the one as I think...
Read moreUsually enjoy comming here but unfortunately today I found a 15cm black hair in my holumi and vegetable salad. It had only just been put infront of me and the third fork full into it I pulled the hair out witnessed by people at my table. When shown to the manager she took it to the kitchen only to come back to me at our table to show me a hair about 35cm long and ask me if it was the hair from my meal. Because she said" no one in the kitchen had hair that long." I felt like she was trying to accuse me of trying to cheet or lie to them. Even though I have only shoulder length hair. I was so put off I refused a replacement meal and she reluctantly refunded the money for the meal. Obviously we will never be going to...
