Govindas Kingscliff — Restaurant in Kingscliff

Very disappointed with 37 dollars charged when all I asked for is a small takeaway with dhal rice and salad , along with a spinach and feta filo and a drink.

I’m wondering why it is after all these years of being a consistent customer , when I asked for a mix of two salads as always have done for one choice , apparently was charged for another whole meal!

For everyone who has fallen in love with Indian cuisine, I highly recommend visiting Govindas in Kingscliff, Coolangatta or anywhere else where present. The menu is amazing, a rich variety of finest Indian dishes such as Korma, Kofta, Samosa, many different types of salads, veggie Lasagne ( my favorite😁), various deserts, and much more. The prices are good and you get a lot for your money. They have also a loyalty program which makes it even more attempting to go there once a week. I'm certainly not a vegetarian but I thought I would give this place a try as many other cafes and restaurants were closing mid-afternoon. I ordered the satay vegetables and samosa and they were surprisingly delicious. I devoured the generous quantity of tasty food inside this gem of a place.
