BUTTERBING COOKIES — Restaurant in Kolendo

I've been in Melbourne for years, and I honestly consider Butterbing Cookie Sandwiches as one of those iconic Melbourne brands. When I first come to Melbourne, I was absolutely loving them.

Part brownie, part cookie, chewy, with a great filling and a range of flavours. They also have a brownie range now, but I've not tried them yet. The biscuit on the cookie pies is something else though; a little gooey, fudgey, crispy and they have great bite.

Some people say they are expensive, but they are made with love, in small batches and in a local premises in Collingwood. Considering the quality, I don't think they are expensive at all. People have got to get paid and we need cookie sandwiches.

It's great to see them back in action and kicking out the cookie sandwiches. I can't wait to see all the other flavours they experiment with. Thanks for the delicious treats and keep up the amazing work.

👀 Needed to track down this cookie and finally did at the OG Cuckoo Callay back in Newtown. I arrived at midday and was able to get the last ones they had!

💥 Named the Bubble O Bing the filling is sandwiched between two OG Butterbing cookies with a half split of strawberry, and half milk buttercreams with a bubblegum flavoured centre.

🍴 The cookie was so fresh! Like it had just come out the oven. It was so soft, not just the filling but the cookie itself, super soft. It was AMAZING! I would search near and far for this cookie again. The strawberry absolutely made the cookie, that’s my fav part of the ice cream and was my fav part of the cookie.
