Hidden gem.

I arrived around 3.30pm looking for high quality sourdough. Liam was very gracious and attended to me despite the bakery being closed. There were a lot items that caught my eye and Liam was so patient in explaining what each of them were.

While my intention was to come in only for a sourdough loaf, I couldn't resist and left with a loaf, croissant, morning bun and fougasse - I've never had a fougasse before and I absolutely enjoyed each bite. Every item was meticulously handcrafted and I can't wait to try out the other goods on the menu when I'm back in this side of town.

While I can highly appreciate the effort behind each of the pastries and baked goods, I just wanted to express how wonderful Liam was and that his kindness really made my day. Thank you Liam for being such wonderful human being and I look forward to continue supporting...

📍Bakhaus Bakery, Airport West - 3.8 ⭐️ out of 5.

Tucked away in the streets of Airport West is a tiny little bakery serving some delicious baked goods.

We had the: ➖Almond croissant ($6) ➖White chocolate and raspberry twice baked croissant ($9) ➖Savoury danish ($7) ➖Cinnamon scroll ($5.50)

Absolute standout for me was the savoury danish. Look at all those layered slices of potato! It had so much garlic and rosemary too! Absolutely delicious.

Overall I thought the pricing was pretty good, have seen some croissants a lot spennier and they were a nice consistency and flakiness.

I enjoyed the almond croissant, but it’s not my fav that I’ve ever had.

Unfortunately it didn’t seem like you could get any coffee here and there wasn’t really anywhere to sit, definitely more of a takeaway spot.

Overall 3.8...

This bakery is one of my top choices for sourdough! The sourdough’s texture was perfectly crusty, and what stood out the most is that I’m someone who’s quite sensitive to bread. With some sourdough, I often experience discomfort, like a buildup of phlegm or a bitter taste in my mouth after eating. However, this bakery’s sourdough was a completely different experience — I felt great after eating it! Another favorite of mine is their Fougasse — it was so delicious, I couldn’t resist finishing it on the way home. It’s clear that quality and care go into everything they make, making this bakery a must-visit for...
