Original Post: This was a fantastic family day out. Can't recommend this enough. Great experience. Milla our instructor was an extra highlight of our experience. Wonderful instructor and really attentive to my disabled brother, who got to experience skydiving for the first time. Thank you Milla. Thank you team!!👍 POST UPDATED BELOW: I have amended my review because I was really disappointed with iFLY after deciding to take advantage of their offer to buy the same package again for half the price in return for a 5-star review. I happily paid $269.95 for the reduced price package and received a PDF voucher via email. The first time we went, I paid for 10 flights for 5 people. I was told I could organize the high flights, photos, etc., on the day but needed to "book the VR goggles." There were no issues that day. We had a great experience, which is why I've left my original post above. Our instructor, Milla, was awesome. But our second experience was horrible. I used the voucher on their website for our second visit and then called to "book the VR goggles." However, this time, I was told that we had to do 3 flights to be able to use the VR goggles. The representative explained that it was their policy to only let customers use the VR goggles on their 3rd flight, meaning that because we had 5 people doing 10 flights, it was effectively 2 flights each. I told her that the only reason we were coming back was that my disabled brother missed out on the VR goggles last time, and we were returning so he could have a go this time. But they refused! This really upset me, especially since no one in our group needed to have 3 flights last time. She reviewed my previous flight, but because there was no video, she couldn't be sure. Offended, I just asked for a refund, to which they said they would check with the manager if it was okay to do so. I did get my refund a few days later, ironically at the same time the flight was booked. I do not think much of iFLY anymore after this experience. It tainted my whole view of the way they run their business. I was prepared to pay extra for the goggles, but because of the attitude of a couple of employees, I ended up asking for a refund. There were so many ways they could have handled the situation differently and in a friendlier manner. And for anyone else reading this review, know that they really focus on their customers giving a 5-star review. I would take these ratings with a grain of salt. I won't be coming back.

While visiting Melbourne my cousin booked for the 2 of us. What an awesome experience. Absolutely nothing to fault. From the minute we walked in staff at the front desk were super friendly, gave instructions about what to do before hand. We signed waivers and watched a 2 min safety video. Headed upstairs for the fun to begin. Our Ifly instructor was Jordie, what an absolute legend, he was very informative, it’s important to have awareness inside the tunnel as your instructor uses hand signals, this is a way of communicating with you, the experience was a 12 out of 10, for new flyers I recommend getting a full face helmet, you are in a wind tunnel so you will get dry mouth, the full face helmet prevents that. The experience itself is amazing, like an anti gravity weightless feeling, this isn’t like skydiving where you free falling. Because I’ve skydived I compared it to that but the experiences are very different, skydiving you are free falling, Ifly you are floating/ flying, however it is used as a training grounad to train for maneuvers in skydiving. Be sure to ask your instructor for a demo of their training, you’ll be amazed at the level of control and skill. I highly recommend Ifly Melbourne to everyone. Very reasonable pricing. Guarantee you will definitely enjoy it. Thanks Jordie & Ifly team for making our experience top class. We will be back!!

iFLY Melbourne offers a thrilling and unique experience—especially fun for kids and first-timers. The setup is professional, safe and the flying itself was great. However, the instructor briefing our group used a sarcastic tone, especially when making comments about payments to children. These kinds of discussions should be kept between staff and adults, as parents come to create joyful memories for their kids, not to hear awkward reminders directed at them. When returning the flight suit, I hadn’t turned it the right way out and was met with a harsh remark from the counter person taking it back that it was not his job instead of a polite reminder. A friendlier tone would’ve made a big difference. That said, I do appreciate that instructors have a demanding job—ensuring safety, working under air pressure, and performing demo flights across back-to-back sessions. Still, empathy and communication are just as important in a customer-facing role. The flight suits also seemed overused and didn’t feel freshly cleaned. We also received blurry photos and poor-quality videos, so I wouldn’t recommend purchasing the media package—have a family member take pictures instead. Memorable experience overall, but better staff training in professionalism and customer care would make it truly outstanding.

I highly advise anyone considering, to reconsider and not waste their money! Absolutely appalling customer service. We booked in flights for a big group for my sister in laws birthday. We requested a female instructor. We arranged other bday plans around this given how far it is. They didn’t call us to let us know the female instructor was no longer working that shift, despite booking it specifically with one. They didn’t care and said we just had to reschedule even though we made the 1 hour trip. They wouldn’t give us a refund either. Upon trying to Re-book, they also said they cannot confirm in advance when a female instructor was working, so we have to just book and call the week of and hope one’s rostered. This is despite knowing how quickly they get booked out. Further, they said we ALSO need to call the morning of th e booking, to confirm that the instructor is still working. It is absolutely ridiculous as we explained we live 1 hour away and with a big group, everyone needs to take time off work/ensure they are free. It is a huge inconvenience. We tried to re-book a few times since and they just don’t seem to be accommodating. They don’t pick up their phones either, which doesn’t help. It’s now come to a point where my partner cannot do the flight anymore as she’s had to undergo a procedure, which will take weeks to months to heel followed by rehab. We explained this over the phone and asked for a refund just for her, and again they said no. I am so sadden to see how disgusting their service is and how they just don’t care about their customers. We have sent a request to head office seeking a refund for her, in the hopes that someone with half a brain and some common decency will give her a refund, and not put her through more hell of trying to sell it.

As I said, don’t book with ifly. According to the girls at the location, you can be on your deathbed and they won’t give your money back. So let’s hope head office treat their...

Don't waste your money on gift vouchers! Couldn't give this place a lower review!! Standing at the desk I book my son and his 3 friends in for a flight the next day. My son had a gift voucher, I paid for his friends. I have two other children that I wanted to book in as they also had gift vouchers. However, apparently they have no system in place to allow me to have booked for my additional kids without being able to present the voucher. There was no effort to ensure all of the kids could book for the same flight slot. No, you can't pay a deposit to hold the spaces and present your voucher on arrival. No, you can't pay the full price for the session and have it refunded when you arrive with the voucher. So I couldn't book the extra two kids. I was told that I HAD to call or book online with the voucher or there was no way the policy allowed it to be done. So no surprise that by the time I call up with the voucher 17 hours later (as I live out of town and couldn't find the printed voucher) the spots were gone. So 4 of my 6 kids can fly. I am having to travel 3 hours round trip to take a few of the kids and then I'm expected to do it all again another time for the other 2. Despite the fact that I was standing at the desk, with the money to pay to for the whole session and then they could refund me the money when and if, I present the voucher -Nope, no booking. I have made a formal complaint but this process with the vouchers seems like a great way to take my money for the voucher and not let me spend it. Will...
