I ordered for chicken Balti, kadhai paneer, Keema naan and parantha. The most horrible meal I've ever received.kadhai paneer was sweet like syrup and full of food colour(who on earth do such injustice to kadhai gravy),chicken Balti was ok but sweet as well( don't know what sort of gravy it got cooked in). Market bought frozen Keema role used to stuff Keema naan. Which I am pretty sure it got microwave first, then big chunks got stuf in naan bread then cooked in oven. It was dry like anything and overly fermented dough was used to make naan. Please do mention on your menus that you use bought in parantha which can be purchased from Indian grocery store at $.50each and you charge $5 each. It's an absolute rip off. Please tell your chef/owner to search some basic Indian gravy recipes from internet If he doesn't have experience cooking Indian food which I am sure he have nil experience and try them. You probably would get good...
Read moreWe have really enjoyed the food in the past. Tonight we had our meal delivered and unfortunately I ended up with a horrible rusty nail about 4cm long in my mouth. I don't know which curry or rice dish it came out of. I phoned the restaurant and they told me it wasn't a nail but a spice they use and to taste it and bite it which I did and nearly broke my tooth as it is definitely a steel nail - not a spice. They sent the delivery driver out to have a look and once he realized it was a nail he phoned his boss who then offered to refund one dish - the dish it came out of????? We said we wanted the whole meal refunded as there is no way of knowing which dish it came from so therefore we can't eat any of the meal. He insisted that he would only refund one dish. We are VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE. These are pictures taken after biting and trying to break...
Read moreAppalling is the word which summarises Indian Cottage food quality, service and delivery. We ordered three items: 2xtandoori chicken, 1 dal makhni and 1 kadai paneer. The tandoori chicken was floating in a pool of watery yellow liquid (I attach a video of the same) which is unique to Indian Cottage I guess. Dal makhni was more water and less dal. Kadai paneer was tasting more like sweet paneer curry. Guys if you can't deliver good food on time why take the order. The WORST INDIAN FOOD in town. If you have an option pls refund for your worst effort. The guy from the restaurant on phone when I called for the delay was blaming Menulog for the delay. But food was in their hands and you are just cheating people in the name of Indian food. You can't just cheat people with such worst food. Total waste of money. They don't deserve even 1*. Appalling! Rude! Unprofessional! People Stay Away...
