Baba’s Kebabs Mowbray — Restaurant in Launceston

The portion size is very little. This is not the first time this has happened to me. Paid $15.50 for the chicken salad which comes in a box. Only quarter of the box was filled with meat. Not worth at all. Shah’s Kebab which is located in Invermay almost provides twice the amount of meat Baba’s Kebab Mowbray provides. Quality is also excellent in Shah’s Kebab Invermay. You guys must learn from them. Customer service, quality of the meat and taste of the food is good here. I have no negative comments on them. This has happened to me more than ten times and I stopped visiting them. It is unfortunate that I had to go to them since Shah’s Kebab were closed. You guys have a serious issue going on. You guys must start respecting your customers by valuing their money. I’m not coming back to you again and I have seen lot of your customers reporting on your less portion size. Beautifully decorated and presented kebab store, clean, neat and tidy, fast and polite service. Could not pay with cash. Loved the Afghanistani flag proudly planted upon the countertop, and the beautiful artefacts from the owners home country. Some absolutely gorgeous coloured, decorated and adorned with gold decorative glassware sets available for sale, along with a few other different Afghani items. Quite busy for 4.30pm on a Thursday afternoon. Lamb Kebab with the lot $13.50. Delicious hot, toasted lavash wrap filled with fresh, tender meat, salad definitely lacking, needed sliced tomato, and a bit more than 1 small ring of onion, extremely greasy aftertaste and lips after eating. (nearly) always cold. and if you ask for any sauce you have two options. 1. a teaspoon. 2. a liter. the older staff(owners?) know how to cook, if they are the only people in there, you will get very good food. But they're not often the ones who make your food, and they don't train their younger staff very well who are so bad I'm surprised they manage to tie their shoes. Especially the young lady.
