On the one hand, this park is pleasant enough, with good walking tracks, a BBQ and toilet area, as well as play equipment for children. There is a large and well conceived off-lead area for dogs, (full fencing and agility equipment) which makes the park popular with dog owners. A drawback is that although the rest of the park is "on-lead", (several signs remind visitors of this), many dog owners plainly do not care and run their dogs off lead in the entire park. There is a large undercover area with seating and free BBQ. Great for picnics and children's party. Besides running along the river and not a building in sight there are jump tracks for the family, dog area, bike and walking trails, park, flying fox, refloxogy path, bbq, toilets, a park for up to 5 separated from the older kids area but also table and chairs with shelter.
