I'm not expecting anywhere in Australia to taste exactly authentic but if anywhere has an authentic taste of vietnam it's in Cabramatta and this place has nowhere near the taste and flavour combination you'll get in Cabra. I don't know if it's the local ingredients or the dry bun or the soaked bun but no just no. The locals seem to like it, I think that's more due to there ain't that many options in the area giving competition that or they've never tried what other Vietnamese restaurants outside the area have to offer. Plus the lady serving me seem quite rude from get go, looked me up and down I felt judged asked if I worked and seemed shocked when I said I did I mean, I didn't go dressed to impress for a take away shop but damn, I didn't deserve that. Ive slowly been eating through the menu. Whether your a tourist passing through or here full time this a most delightful place. The service is friendly and efficient. All of the food is made from extremely fresh ingredients. The roast pork Banh Mi is super delicious. You wont be disappointed this is a real Laurieton gem. The crispy rice pancake is huge and always a delight. The fresh spring rolls are always so fresh. Also freshly pressed juices on the menu really taste great with the fresh food. Ive also just discovered the wonton soup. Its a dream and now my go to for that home cooked broth that is just full of flavour. Honestly my favourite place in Laurieton...

Wouldn't mind the over priced food if it was good. Just ordered traditional Pho soup which always comes with a mixed leaf salad which you add. When I asked the English speaking lady that served us she stated, "we don't do that here". That's like saying we don't have roast vegetables with roast lamb. The soup was very bland with little flavour. We also had some spring rolls at $3.50 each they were more like Chinese spring rolls not traditional Vietnamese.
