Drastically gone downhill since change of ownership with much less variety. If you ask if the cakes are made daily they will lie and say yes however you can literally see and taste the condensation from being taken out of the fridge, and you can see the filling pulling away from the cracking pastry (custard tarts etc.) from being dried out in the fridge. The cupcakes are even older than the tarts and the smarties have wider cracks in them than Taree council roads.

No problem with a two or so day old cake, but be honest about it.

Excellent, fresh food. Friendly service. Clean environment. Wide range of hot food including a large selection of pie flavours, sausage rolls and other baked pastry goods. Good selection of fresh baked bread and rolls. Many sweet treats to choose from. Great selection of pre-made and made-to-order cakes. EFTPOS facilities. The coffee could be better, but has a reward system for returning customers. This is definitely the best bakery in town. Not open on Sundays which is both surprising and often disappointing....

Friendly and helpful staff, we got the surf and turf pie. The filling of steak scolops and prawns was delicious with chunks of scolops, tender steak and a yummy all around. The pastry was good held together when holding and eating the pie in one hand. Also got a custard tart also beautiful.
