Thank you for supporting the well organised running event that used your clubs facilities, it was very well done. The club was very welcoming, the bar staff were very good at their job and made getting our drinks a fun experience. But the bistro was about as bad as it gets. In saying that it was not the front of house. The meals, standard club fare, were over cooked. Crumbed cutlets coating was very dark brown and basically inedible, snitzels wernt so bad just a little overdone around the edges, parmigiana wasn't grilled enough to brown the cheese. Grilled chicken was overcooked and dry. They were very busy, so we didn't complain. But they lost a couples meal, when they asked about their order a staff member (manager?) basically told them to wait, were busy etc. She spoke to them very harshly which is not what you would expect. They had ordered before us and first on on our table, we were finished by the time theirs arrived. Sadly with no apology. LUSC, we...

Unfortunately had a really poor experience here the other night due to an extremely rude waitress manager.

The incorrect meal was brought to us which we immediately told the waitress about. Shortly after, the manager walked over and rudely demanded “What is the problem with your food?”. She then proceed to tell us that the bistro would not have made the mistake and it must have been us that had ordered incorrectly. We were then told if we wanted what we had ordered, we would need to come up and pay the difference (about $8).

Having worked in hospitality, I understand mistakes happen and that is all well and good. But to shift blame of the mistake you made to your customers, addressing them rudely, demanding they pay extra and then providing the food late is unacceptable.

In the end the food was decent but in future I’d much rather go to the other much friendlier establishments in the area like Laurieton Hotel or North Haven...

Attended club on the 18/11/17 with a group of dances. Dance venue was great, lined up in a large queue for some 20minutes to order a roast at 1215pm only to be told they had run out of roasts. Reluctantly order another meal and after waiting 40minutes without been served with our meal, I cancelled my order. As this is the second year in a row I have had problems with meals at your club, there will not be a third time. Not happy, neither were a number of other guests. As the area attracts large groups of dances from over the State attending your club in mid November, one would think your club would make a better effort to cater for meals for...

Staying overnight nearby and dropped in to have dinner with hubby. Ordered a small roast of the day, it was very nice and a Thai beef salad, the salad was really nice and generous portion, loved it! ..but the beef slices were very chewy. I finished it tho as I was so hungry ( it was my one and only meal of the day ) The staff were very friendly, polite and helpful, as well as the lady at the front desk who checked us in. They made us felt so welcomed🥰 The service was quick. We saw other table having like seafood platter, it looked sooo nice! We didn't see it on the menu? Next time, we will definitely try that🥰

Music bingo Tuesday 6 pm, laughs and fun with my friends and neighbours from Monteray over 55s resort. Club sends a bus to collect us and returns us home. We usually have an easy dinner either dine in at the restaurant or order take away weekly specials for members. Staff are exceptional from Russ who driver the bus, to the ladies at reception, the bar and coffee shop staff and Robert the manager. Lovely, local club situated on the water, with a community attitude….well worth a visit…you won’t be disappointed!

Marinated pork cutlet with creamy mashed potato, seasonal green beans, and delicious honey mustard sauce only $19.50 for members / $22.50 for non members. Plus, you get a free beer! The cutlet was cooked to perfection and was super juicy. This club is one of the friendliest clubs I've been to. You are genuinely and warmly welcomed, and the staff smile and engage with you. If you're local, new to the area, or just passing through, make sure you visit LUSC for a relaxing and enjoyable evening.
