Blueys Cafe — Restaurant in Lismore

The food is good but why does the owner not comply with what I believe is Australian law and inform patrons of a surcharge on credit cards, what is wrong with the guy. It's taking the piss. I go there several times a week spending over $100 weekly to eat but I am not going back, over it completely its wrong and I am not supporting the rort, even his surcharge is excessive, it's greed. An acceptable surcharge is .05%-1.5% it's against the law to charge more than you pay, a 50c surcharge on a less than $10 item...

Bad customer service! Our meals were plonked all in front of me and not even divided or asked who’s meals were who’s! They seemed uninterested in serving us! I ordered the avocado and feta which claimed to have dukkah seasoning: wasn’t seasoned or salted, had a tiny sprinkle of feta, had 1 egg to 2 pieces of toast, was ordinary and bland. My companion ordered the lasagne with chips: the chips weren’t seasoned and the lasagne was tasteless! Shocking experience, so expensive for what...

Had brekkie there this morning. They made sure we scanned in etc covid rules. We sat inside, very nicely set up. Just wanted something light so we both ordered fruit and hazelnut toast. It came out lo belt and hot and with heaps of butter. It was very nice. I also ordered a small chai latte. It was lovely too. Hubby just had orange juice. Staff were lovely and friendly.
