As someone who's plant based with such limited options in what to buy out I was really enthusiastic about trying the vegan cheeseburger knowing that you sold out of them last week due to their popularity, but after grabbing one of your regular vegan cheeseburger meals from Hungry Jack's Lismore I won't ever come back for one unless some serious changes are made. I didn't expect anything from the bun (as far as I know you've never offered sourdough or anything nice like that) and I know bio cheese can be pretty rough with how processed it is unless you're having it with other thngs, but I thought at the very least the patties on these burgers would be nice and have a bit of a crispy, fried feel but as I got closer to the centre of this burger I started getting this awful taste... I tried all the contents of the burger and concluded it was coming from these floppy, poor excuses for patties which I'm pretty certain have been taken out of a freezer and chucked in some sort of microwave oven or MAYBE on a pan for a maximum of 10 seconds which would explain why they were so awful texturally and taste wise as I got a couple bites in due to not being defrosted. It seriously baffles me that these sold out (maybe it's that there was such a large number of people who went to trial them) and I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of people had a similar first-time experience, but then maybe it's just whoever cooked the patties in Lismore doing a terrible job of them all because not one of my two family members and myself got even a semi-decent burger. When I first mentioned that the burger was missing the sauce, the manager's willingness to remake it was appreciated. However, we received the same incorrect burger again. After requesting a replacement AGAIN, the new burger only had the patty and an excessive amount of sauce. Moreover, the unprofessional attitude of the staff, who seemed to look down on me and talk behind my back, was unacceptable. This experience has given me a poor impression of service in Australia. Read moreMixed up experience. Each time I visit this place, I get a variety of customer service. Either good when ordering, crap service when trying to get food. This experience, 1 star for young lady at the window taking order, she was so patient, I was getting fustrated with the outdoor order menus, constantly changing, I know i need new glasses an hard to focus, but those dam boards changed so fast, and when your oder is being placed the other two boards go kinda blank with logo. Like wtf.. anyway, after moving along, I then get told to wait down stair, then be given wrong order, requiring a super tired walk ups stairs.. why I drive through to save time an effort often work. Only to be told, oh, we have to make your order again. Left with only the bottle of water they originally gave me after paying. Will be a very long time again...
