A beautiful venue in Jimboomba housed in a small shopping complex that is made from repurposed Queenslanders. Full of wonderful small businesses like a barber, homewares, clothing, real estate etc. This cafe is eclectic and rustic with a mish mash of furniture and packed with personality. Lots of outdoor seating and one indoor room. There is a great play house & toys in baskets for the kids. A picnic blanket with cushions out the front, just beautiful on a sunny winters day. If you don't mind that things are aged and there's a bit of dirt & dust which are part of the appeal then you'll love it. The ordering was a little confusing through a small window with staff hidden inside. Massive wait times over 10 minutes just to be acknowledged after waiting for a huge line to subside. A further 8 minutes to be served. In saying that the service was kind & personal. Coffee was very good, the right kind of bitter & strength. Food took a while but was lovingly executed and delicious. ✅Veggo's quite a good selection. 🚫Vegans other than chips, juices or smoothies all meals have eggs or honey. Alternative milks though & I enjoyed a delicious oat milk coffee. You could however omit haloumi on their veggo burger option ⚠️GF No advice on the menu to any GF options. ACCESS✅👨‍🦽There is disability access and disability parking. Seating can be accommodated at the cafe. We met a lady cruising on wheels that comes there often and she said that access was pretty good & she could wheel up directly from parking on the street but showed me where the disability parking was at the rear outside the Barber shop. NUERODIVERSE ✅😎🎧You will love it as there are many little places to 'hide'. I did have issues with very bright sunshine really frustrating me in the outdoor area but was able to move quite easily. Good spot for Autism & Neurodiverse as the people are kind and...

This place is a joke.... the manager honestly needs to learn some customer service... we ordered a toastie with no yolk , egg white only. After ordering and sitting about for 15 minutes the young girl said the manager will just do a fried egg and leave it on the side for us to take the yolk out ourselves as they don't want to handle it too much...then we said we don't mind it takes a second to separate before cooking then the girl replied its too hard our reply was its actually easy to separate. Then after another 15 minutes waiting for our food the girl brought out the toastie with a full fried egg on the side and said we have to cut it out ... We sent it back asking for egg white only. Then the so called manager /cook came out saying this is how we have to have it and its not their responsibility to separate it for us and how dare we ask them to do this on a busy morning 😑😐..we asked for a refund and she turned around in a huff and stormed off... Well if you run a Cafe learn how to separate an egg if your struggling my young daughter can show you this basic cooking skill and also if you can not deliver a simple request use your customer service skills to handle the matter politely. I've read multiple reviews about the bad service here and I never believed it until we met...

Went here for the first time today and was so disappointed. Ordered the Berry smoothie & it came out after the 2 people I was with got their drinks who ordered after me. It was completely tasteless. I don't usually ever waste food or drinks but I took 1 sip, then again & left it. It had less flavour than water 😬 I'm not even sure how that's possible 😅 had my sister try some too and she agreed so it went to waste. Then another girl came to our table with a brown ice drink and said "did you get your iced chocolate?" And my sister said "yes" and gestured to the drink we had and the girl said "oh okay" and gave the drink to the table next to us. Then she came back to us and took the iced chocolate from our table? And my sister said "oh, no... That... That's ours. Thank you" and the girl said in an annoyed way "well I just asked you that??" And my sister said "oh... Sorry... I thought you meant the drink you were holding - the brown... Chocolate... Iced drink.." and the girl rolled her eyes and took our drink anyway. My sister had to basically beg to get it back and asked her around 3 times to please give the drink back. She seemed really angry and tossed the drink onto the table. My sister was like "did I do something wrong?" 😳 So glad we tried it but definitely won't be...

Want to find gold without the hard work? Want to find a gem without getting chased by angry bandits? Go to Cafe on Cusack. It's menu, prices and service are gold, and it is the gem of Jimboomba. I sat down there for brekky over the weekend and my mate and I were both weeping as we were eating. Was it the perfect balance of ingredients and the delicate hand of the Chef? Or was it the fact that we were eating a masterpiece? It was genuinley hard to tell. The plus side is you can expect the same level of care and perfection with your meal. Because Jodi and her team sprinkle their magic onto everything they bring out. Incredible prices at Cafe on Cusack, you would have to pay twice as much at other breakfast establishments, and why would you pay extra for something that is nowhere near the standard set by Cafe on Cusack. I've never been a spiritual man, but I think I've found my church. Thanks again for the great breakfast Jodi and the team, will be back again.

Cafe On Cusack is cute and quirky, with eclectic furniture in a kitsch vibe. Admittedly, could do with a lick of paint here and there and if a warm day, you are going to be hot, as there only seems to be aircon in the kitchen and no ceiling fans. There is however outdoor seating, which is nice for a breath of fresh air if you’re on a work break. EFTPOS is available, however cash is preferred. The meals we had were really lovely and we saw another table with an enormous plate of waffles with berries etc which looked amazing! Really nice strong coffee and a lovely pot of char (tea).
