Perks Cafe — Restaurant in Logan City

On arrival there were several people in line waiting to order in a queue that went through the seating area to the door. The large venue gives ample seating for groups of all sizes. Orders are taken at the counter. When ordering be sure to state if dining in or take away to the cashier CLEARLY as our coffees were set on the counter in disposable cups when we had intended to dine in ( I wondered why we had waited so long). Even still, the coffee is Merlo, very stock standard roast that can be bought at supermarkets. My almond latte was blistering hot and I could not enjoy it straight away (despite it having sat on the bench). When I was able to drink it, the coffee was burnt and I ended up leaving and chucking it out. The atmosphere is the perfect balance of relaxed and stylish, making it a great spot to catch up with friends, get some work done, or simply unwind with a good book.

The menu is thoughtfully curated, with a range of delicious options for both food and drinks. I had the English breakfast tea, chicken & avocado sandwich, and fresh homemade scones — both were absolutely divine. You can tell everything is made with care.

This place has some delicious dishes to try, they make a great cup of coffee ☕️ if you like merlo coffee this place is for you. The service is pretty good for a cafe. The atmosphere is nice around the counter. Best spot to sit is in one of the booths. This is one of my favourite local hang outs, though recently the prices have gone up a little.
