Jimboomba Bakehouse — Restaurant in Logan City

We were passing through Jimboomba and decided to pop into this bakery as my kids wanted a cupcake for after our bbq

The staff were friendly and greeted me with a smile which is always nice so that got 5 stars.

However…

I was so disappointed in the cupcakes! When my daughter bit into it, it was ROCK hard! She said she didn’t like it and I felt it and it was so so stale like it shouldn’t have even been for sale. They both went in the bin & I had 2 very unhappy kids.

I don’t believe they are made fresh daily. Maybe in future do a check to ensure things are still ok to be sold.

I have a video and you can see we are squeezing the cupcake and it’s not even moving. Happy to send through if anyone would like to see.

We would have loved to come back and try other items as when service is great, I like to support but unfortunately that has turned us off...

Purchased a Steak & Bacon pie and a Steak & Potato pie. Both had very delicious filling with thick gravy and generous meat. The pastry was fantastic and held its shape so well. WOW. Love this bakery food and the staff are awesome. Fabulous service. Baked bread products and the salad rolls are just amazing. But those cream donuts are out of this world. They are the freshest cream donuts and the best I have had in 20 years. Well worth the excellent review. Keep up the Fantastic service...
