Golden Inn Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Logan City

Shown to a table given a menu then left amongst other tables that had not been wiped down for about 10-15 minutes, tall girl mouse brown hair. Table next to me had order taken then I was just left waiting and wondering, I should have left at that point. I had to go to them to order, the first girl just ignored me I ordered a small bottle of proseco which arrived without a glass, bottle just put on the table and before I could say anything was left again... so I had to chase them again for a glass. Steamed Duck with mixed veges, I should have taken a photo. I've never seen anything as bad. Maybe 2 pieces of cauliflower.. and some sliced mushrooms that looked like they were past it, definitely not fresh. The duck was tasteless, maybe because I asked not to have MSG added to my food. I was on a phone call when the waitress THEN came and just started asking me if I had finished, with the plate half full and I was in mid conversation... I don't get it. One person, sweetcorn soup, steamed duck, plain rice, small bottle Prosecco (12.50) fried banana and icecream $67.00 for a really UNPLEASANT dinner with the WORST SERVICE, OVERPRICED, BELOW AVERAGE FOOD AND APPAULING SERVICE. ZERO STARS. Lost a loyal customer, I've been going there for years and this was enough to put me off going there again....

Placed an order earlier tonight made very sure to tell the girl on the phone no onion in the Singapore noodle as my daughter is allergic. One of the waitresses brought the food out and the young girl behind the counter pointed out that it was ment to be no onion and sent the food back to be remade. Unfortunately the food was back out way to quick and when I got home and opened it it was full of onion so clearly the waitress took it out the back and took out what she could see and sent it back to us. Absolutely the best Chinese my family have had in the area!!!

We have been dining here, and getting takeaway here for years.

On a very busy Saturday night, for the first time, we were given the incorrect takeaway order. I called them and told them what had happened. The manager could not have been nicer, or more apologetic. As we live 30mins from Jimboomba he gave us a credit for the missing items. I called tonight and the credit was honoured and again had the nicest Chinese food we could ask for.
