China Rose Chinese Restaurant (Marsden) — Restaurant in Logan City

Well what can i say-- We have been loyal customers for the last 6 years using China Rose Marsden any where 2 to 3 time a month, but with our order tonight 06/04/14 which was -- 1 serve of won tons, 1 x sweet and sour pork, 1 x beef satay sauce and a special fried rice which cost $39.60 delivered, and were not happy with the quality of food and service this time.

When calling the store tonight the young girl that answered the phone said sorry and offered us a FREE serve of won tons on our next order (WHAT $4.60) i said no i would like our order replaced -- she said is there any food that can be picked up -- i said yes -- she said that she will have to speak to the owner -- i said better still i would like to speak to the owner.

Now speaking to the owner Linda Yu and explaining to her what the problem was -- she "stated" to me that all the orders were cooked at the same time and sent out all together with the delivery driver (which i must say that is a lovely lady) at the same time -- ( which i don't believe ) as we live 2.6kn from this store or 4 to 5 minutes drive from this store and our food was cold and had to be re-heated before we could eat it as well as the won tons were burnt (very crispy !!)

Speaking to the owner Linda Yu in the what she said to me is that there is nothing that she can do as all orders were cooked at the same time and sent at the same time, SO i ask you all that are reading this-- check out there web sight and read what they say about the founders of China Rose Tom & Linda Yu and really read what they say about them and then re-read what ive written..

I Now CHALLENGE the owners Tom & Linda Yu to rectify this problem with me and with our order which i believe they wont as it was made very clear to me by Linda Yu that all orders were cooked and sent at the same time.

So everybody out there if you like cold or luke warm Chinese food from China Rose Marsden I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this store as once they have your money they don't care'.. BUT if it was not for US the consumer (customers) they would not be in business.. I...

Had the most amazing food from here. We have had takeaway and delivery. King garlic prawns were so perfectly cooked juicy and flavour was definitely on point. Mongolian beef. Not over cooked not spicy just how the kids like it. Chicken chow mein with soft Noodles was the best we have had since surfers paradise shut down out favourite for that 1 dish. Would have to admit the second time we did order it there wasn't as many noodles as the first time. Only serve 1 person last time served 2. Bit disappointed. And unfortunately we will never for the fried rice again because it was all stuck together and was if it was only. But the quality or everything else we have had from here is totally amazing just ashame about the rice. I tried telling the girl that was on who served us but was like no one cared 😕 I work in hospitality and reviews and feedback...

Turned up around 5.30 pm on a weds without a booking. It was empty, so there was no issue getting a table.

Quick turnaround from ordering to food arriving.

They gave us prawn crackers to start which we demolished.

Ordered the special fried rice, honey chicken as well as sweet & sour chicken. Also a serve each of spring rolls and curry puffs. It was all very good. Also ordered more prawn crackers. Between three of us, plenty to take home and it was just as good the next day.

In the hour we were there, no other dine in customers arrived. But appeared to be plenty of phone in orders.

Staff member was attentive and polite.
